Pre-Installation

PLANNING INSTALLATION

□ Unpack your medicine cabinet carefully, and close the sink drain to prevent any dropped parts from falling into the drain.

□ Before installing your medicine cabinet, decide whether you want to install your cabinet using a surface or a recess mount and

determine which direction you want the door to open.

□ For a recessed mount installation, you do not install the side mirrors. Additional framing may be required to secure the cabinet.

Installation - Surface Mounting Only

Installing the bottom bracket

NOTE: The height of the bottom bracket (F)

should be a minimum of 2 in. above the faucet.

□ Using a level and measuring tape, ensure the bottom

bracket (F) is level and positioned accordingly.

□ Mount the bottom bracket (F) to the wall using the 1.5 in.

Phillips head screws (GG). See the Warning regarding the

fastening of the bracket (F).

□ Carefully position the cabinet (C)

onto the bottom bracket (F).

Installing the top clips

□ Install the top clips (II) by inserting the rounded ends

into the rear top slot of the cabinet (C). See the Warning

regarding the fastening of top clips (II).

□ Slide one top clip (II) to the left and one to the right.

□ Mount the top clips (II) to the wall by installing two 1.5 in.

screws (GG) through the top clips to secure the cabinet.

WARNING: If installing the cabinet on drywall or other

hollow wall applications, the bottom mounting bracket (F)

and top clips (II) must be fastened to studs, headers, or

other structural wall members. The included plastic wall

anchors are intended for use with solid wall applications

only (tile or concrete). DO NOT USE WITH DRYWALL OR

OTHER HOLLOW WALL APPLICATIONS.

Installation - Surface Mounting Only

Preparing the side mirror brackets

□ Adhere the side mirror bracket tape (JJ) to the side mirror

brackets (FF) as shown. Make sure the bracket (FF) surface

is clean.

□ Attach four side mirror brackets (FF) to the cabinet (C)

sides with screws (AA) and washers (EE). Cover the screw

heads with snap caps (DD).

□ Remove the paper on the side mirror bracket tape (JJ), and

stick the side mirrors (B) to the side mirror brackets (FF).

NOTE: Please make sure the side mirrors are

aligning with the cabinet (C) before attaching the

side mirrors (B).

Installation - Recess Mounting only

Cut away the drywall

NOTE: For recess mount, do not install side mirrors and

brackets.

□ Cut away the drywall. The rough opening dimension is

14-1/8in x 25-1/8in x 3-7/8in.

Frame out the wall cavity

□ Mark the opening size of the framing.

□ Construct rough opening as illustrated.

Mounting the cabinet into a recess

□ Insert cabinet into rough opening and make sure cabinet is

level and plumb. (Use wood shims as required)

□ Secure both sides of the cabinet at the designated

mounting hole locations

□ Use 1.5 inch long screws (GG) and clear washers (EE) as

shown in illustration.

□ Snap the caps ( DD ) as illustrated below.

Depth adjustment is made without loosening any screw. The

door can be moved in or out by rotating the cam adjuster on

the hinge arm.

Installing the shelves

□ Install the glass shelves (E) to your desired positions with

shelf clips ( BB ) as illustrated below.

Plugging the empty holes

□ Use the shelf hole plugs (CC) to seal the empty holes.

Care and Cleaning

□ Use a household liquid glass cleaner to keep the mirror and glass surfaces clean.

□ Do not use abrasive cleaners containing ammonia.

Instalación del soporte del fondo

Instalación de los ganchos superiores

ADVERTENCIA: Si está instalando el gabinete en pared

seca u otras aplicaciones de pared hueca, los soportes de

montaje del fondo (I) y los ganchos superiores (A) deben

estar sujetados a montantes, dinteles u otros miembros

estructurales de la pared. Las anclas plásticas incluidas

están previstas para ser usadas con aplicaciones de pared

sólida solamente (azulejo y concreto). NO LO USE CON

APLICACIONES DE PARED SECA U OTRAS APLICACIONES DE

PARED HUECA.

□ Usando un nivel y una cinta métrica, asegúrese de que

el soporte del fondo (F) esté nivelado y colocado como

corresponde.

□ Monte el soporte del fondo (F) a la pared usando los

tornillos Philips de 1.5 pulg. (GG). Vea la advertencia

relacionada con la sujeción del soporte (F).

□ Coloque con cuidado el gabinete

NOTA: La altura del soporte del fondo (F) debe

Preparación de los soportes

□ Adhiera las cintas (JJ) en los soportes del espejo lateral

Instalación de los espejos laterales

□ Instale cuatro soportes de espejo lateral ( ) en los lados del

gabinete (C) con tornillos (AA) y arandelas (EE), y tapas a presión

(DD) para cubrir las cabezas de los tornillos como se ilustra.

□ Retire el papel en las cintas (JJ), y adhiera los espejos

laterales (B) en los soportes de espejo lateral (FF).

NOTA: Asegúrese de que los espejos laterales

están alineando con el gabinete (C) antes de

adjuntando los espejos laterales (B).
