TX/RX : Transmit and receive data
TX and RX light flash alternately during normal and busy
communication.
Busy: Transmission is busy
LAN (Local Area Network) :
Connect to local area network via RJ45 wire when powered.
Reset Function
Press “RESET” button until TX/RX indicator light
flashes for 3 seconds and then release the
reset button. The IP address will go back to
192.168.0.120.
RS-485 Short Circuit
The followings indicate RS-485 short circuit:
TX light is always on
RX light turns off
Busy light flashes
LAN light is always on

RS-485 Port (D+):

RS-485 Port (D-):
Green Wire
Each group of two ports
can be used simultaneously
and connected to the reader
separately.

Connect to one group of two ports
(A or B group) for normal
communication.
Connect multiple readers in series
or parallel connection.
Connect wires according to the above diagram.
Incorrect wiring will result in communication failure.
Notice:
Do not move DIP switch to On position (for terminal
resistance). The factory default is set to Off position.
