IDEAL Security SK606BL is an easy-to-install water sensor that can help you prevent water damage to your home or business. Installation:
1. Remove cover and install battery (g.1)
2. Determine spot for sensor. Do not place sensor directly on humid
concrete as this may cause false triggers.
Place sensor at or use suction cup if surface is smooth.
3. Once sensor location is chosen, turn the unit to ON. Wait for activation
BEEP (about 30 seconds). The unit is now in standby mode.
4. Test the sensor by dipping it in water.
5. Mount the alarm portion at a desired height with screws provided.
6. Test the unit monthly. If the alarm sounds weak, change the battery.
We suggest changing the battery as you change smoke detector batteries.
7. If the water sensor sends no signals when wet make sure that the metal
contacts on the sensor are not corroded. Gently scrape the contacts
with a sharp knife to expose clean metal.

Installation
1. Retirer le couvercle de l’unité et insérer la pile de 9V (g. 1)
2. Déterminer l’endroit ou poser le détecteur. Ne pas installer directement
sur le béton humide car il pourrait déclencher de fausses alarmes.
Installer le détecteur q plat ou utiliser la ventouse si la surface est lisse.
3. Lorsque l’emplacement du détecteur est choisi, mettre l’unité en
marche (ON). Attendre le BEEP d’activation de l’alarme (mode de veille).
Tester avec de l’eau.
4. Fixer l’alarme à la hauteur désirée avec les vis fournies.
5. Tester l’unité chaque mois. Si la force de l’alarme est faible, changer la
batterie. Le bon fonctionnement du détecteur dépend de l’état de
charge de ses piles. Remplacer les piles annuellement, tout comme
pour un avertisseur de fumée
6. Si le capteur d’eau n’envoie pas de signal lorsque mouillé assurez-vous
que les contacts en métal du capteur ne sont pas corrodés. A l’aide
d’une lame de couteau, grattez les 2 contacts de métal 4 à 5 fois, juste
assez pour enlever le placage
