FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1) Where can I install my Deco Wood?
a) Deco Wood Peel and Stick is designed to be installed on interior walls, doors, backsplashes,
headboards, countertops, wall art and more. Deco Wood can be installed in bathrooms.
2) Is it easy to cut?
a) The thin (¼”) piece makes it easy to cut.
3) How many planks are in a carton?
a) Each carton provides 10 piece. 6 pieces are 46 ½” long and 4 pieces are random lengths.
4) Can it be applied to a textured surface?
a) Some textured surfaces will adhere to the Deco Wood products with ease, while others (that
are less smooth) may have a few issues achieving maximum bonding. We recommend that if
the surface is too textured, you sand the texture down, clean the area of dust/debris, then
apply the Deco Wood to the now smooth surface.
5) How much do I need to order?
a) You need to calculate the size of the space you want to install Deco Wood. Each carton
contains 13 square feet.
i) You need to measure the height and width of your space in inches.
ii) Multiply the two numbers.
iii) Divide the sum by 144. We recommend ordering 10% extra for trimming.
Example: If you have a wall height of 100” and a wall width of 120” then you will multiply both
numbers which will total 12,000”. Next, you will take 12,000 and divide it by 144 which will add
up to 83.3333 plus your 10% for trimming. Your total square feet will be 91.67 square feet. You
will take 91.67 and divide it by 13 which equals to 7.05. All you will need is 8 cartons for this
project.
6) Will it work in my bathroom?
a) Yes, it will work in your bathroom. Deco Wood can be install in bathrooms but not in the
shower.
7) Can I apply this to a ceiling?
a) It is not recommended to use Deco Wood in the ceiling.

8) Is this wood or wallpaper?
a) Deco Wood is 100% real wood pieces that can be used to transform any wall in your home.
9) Is there a warranty?
a) Yes, Deco Wood does have warranty. You can find the warranty on the Deco Wood at
www.Homedepot.com.
10) Commercial/Retail space, will it work?
a) Absolutely, in fact Deco Wood is ideal for commercial space. Deco Wood will transform a
space in hours. Making your commercial/retail look stylish.
11) How do I cut Deco Wood?
a) You can use a miter box saw or table saw.
12) What if I want to remove it?
a) If you would like to remove Deco Wood, you need to pry it off. The adhesive will need to be
removed from the work surface. Most of the time, the surface Deco Wood was removed from,
will require minor repairs.
13) Can I put it outside?
a) Deco Wood is not designed for outdoor use. Deco Wood is recommended for interior use only.
14) Can you put this product on a door?
a) Yes, Deco Wood can go on a door or cabinet with ease. Make sure the door has a clean and
smooth surface. Use a paint roller to ensure maximum bonding between the surface and the
adhesive.
15) Can I apply it to a fire place or near heat?
a) Deco Wood is not recommended to install around fire places or open flame areas include
ovens or stove.
16) What type of wood is used?
a) Deco Wood is made with pine wood.
17) Can I recycle Deco Wood?
a) Yes, in fact take all of your trimmings and tape peelings and put them in your box and place it
in your recycling bin.
18) Can this be applied over wall paper?
a) No, the product is not recommended for over wallpaper application. The wallpaper could
separate from the wall and the Deco Wood system would fail.
