Size the image by sliding the projector along the
boom–towards or away from the ActivBoard, until
the image is in line with the top of the ActivBoard.
ActivBoard 78there will be approximate gap of
1in (2.5cm) on either side of the projected image.
ActivBoard 64 there will be an approximate gap
of 1in (2.5cm) top and bottom of the ActivBoard.
Secure the screws on the side of the projector
mount, ensuring that the image remains level.
Secure the bracket enough to hold in place, but do
not tighten, in case further adjustment is required.
Install the assembled projector plate and PRM-30
onto the ActivBoard+2 v1 boom, ensuring cables
in the boom are threaded through the tube on the
projector plate.
Tip: If the cables cannot be easily pulled through
the tube, check the cables are not trapped at the
bottom of the stand, behind the ActivBoard.
If exible conduit was used during the original
installation, you may need to release the cables
from the conduit to provide additional length.
Level the image by swiveling the projector on the
boom arm and also rotating the projector from
side to side. Continue until the image is level at the
top and bottom of the ActivBoard.
Attach the projector plate to the PRM-30 projector using the instructions supplied with the projector
bracket. (TP 1800 PRM-30 Projector Upgrade for AB+2 V1 Stand)
Using a Pozi 2 screwdriver, remove the cable cover from the side of the PRM-30 projector to expose the
connectivity panel. Leave in a safe place until it is replaced later in the installation.
Connect the mains, VGA and any other cables such as C-video to the projector.
Turn on the PRM-30 projector using the remote control.
Lower the ActivBoard+2 v1 System to the lowest position for easier access.
Some versions of the ActivBoard+2 v1 include a pin in the column of the stand to restrict adjustment, this
pin can be removed to allow the stand to be lowered further whilst installing the projector. If the pin is
removed, ensure it is replaced in the correct position at the end of the installation.

Lift the image by using the springs on top of
the projector plate. The screws closest to the
ActivBoard will lift the image when turned
clockwise. Continue until the top and bottom
of the projected image are parallel. Gaps may
still be seen on the left, right hand or bottom
of the ActivBoard.
Slide the ActivBoard along the stand brackets to make the gap on the left and right hand side of the
ActivBoard equal.
Once the projector is aligned, tighten the screws on the projector mount firmly. Ensure that both screws
are making contact with the boom arm.
Using the Projector Remote control, use keystone to adjust the image until it is square.
Replace the cable cover on the side of the PRM-30 (see step 2).
If the image still has a gap at the top or bottom, fine adjustments can be made by repeating steps 7 12 above.
If a pin was removed from the column of the stand at the beginning of the installation, ensure it is
replaced in the correct position.
