Descriptionof the machine
We have developed ajig saw forespeciallyhigh
requirements concerning sawing precision and
performance that is not only distinguished by its
versatilitybut isalsosuitable forcuttingcurves in
12mmthickwood.
Straight cuts areno problem either: the machine
is equippedwith anadjustable limitstopwhich is
guided along the tool edge, enabling accurate
parallelcuts.Andbecausethesawtablecanalso
be rotated alongthe longitudinal axle, mitre cuts
upto45°arealso possible.
The device head consists of precisely machined

Working with the jigsaw
Hold power tool by insulated gripping sur-
faces, when performing an operation where
the cutting accessory may contact hidden
wiring or its own cord. Cutting accessory con-
tacting a“live” wire may make exposed metal
partsofthe power tool “live” and could give the
operatoranelectricshock.
Affix and secure the work piece to astable
surface using clamps or another suitable
method.Ifyouholdtheworkpiecewithyourhand
only or up against your body, itwill be unstable
whichmayleadtoaloss ofcontrol.
Activate thedevice with theswitch 2(Fig. 5) and
set the numberofstrokes that correspond to the
worktaskatknob1.Fundamentallyspeaking,the
followingapply:
Softmaterials: highnumberofstrokes
coarseteeth
Hardmaterials: lownumberofstrokes,
fineteeth
Thejigsaw canbeeasilyguidedbyhandnow.In
theinterestofclean sawcutsandoptimalsawing
performance, make sure the feed is adjusted to
suit the material. The basic principle here is: the
harderthe material,theslower thefeed!
Whensawing metals,asmallamount ofoil should
beapplied tothecutting line.
Thin sheet steel should be appropriately clamped
toafixedsupportingsurface(e.g.plywood board):
Thisminimisesandpreventsvibrationsandflexing.

cientlylargetoallowthesawbladetobeinserted.
