his
service will only be provided as part of this warranty if all the following conditions are met;
a) The
pr
o
duct is indicated in the Warranty Period Table.
b) T
he
p
roduct is within the warranty period.
c) T
he
p
roduct is located within the normal service area of the local TEAC Authorised Service Centre.
Pr

se is required. If TEAC determines that the product is not repairable on site, TEAC can complete the repair by taking
t
he p
roduct to a TEAC Authorised Service Centre.

of purchase is required to support a warranty claim. After the repair, the product will be available for collection by

ll ensure to the best of its abilities that all required

arts
are made available for any required service/repair.

EAC Aus
tralia Pty Ltd and its Authorised Service Centres will use their best endeavours to complete product repairs within a
r
easo
nable
p
erio
d based on available resources and workload during the
t
ime
when service is requested and performed.
9. R
efurb
ished parts may be used to repair the product. In the case of a replacement, the product may be replaced, with a refurb
i
shed
unit of the
s
ame
type or, if one is unavailable, a similar refurbished model
w
ith
equal or better features
a
nd
s
pec
i
fications.
10. Pl
ease
be advised that if the product presented for repair is capable of retaining user
-g
ener
ated data, the data may be lost during servicing.

usto
mers are strongly encouraged to back up all important inf
o
rmat
ion/data before sending the product in for service/repair.
11. S
ervi
ce will be provided only during normal business hours and under safety conditions and circumstances. TEAC and its author
i
sed
service
a
gent
s can refuse any repair if safety, in relation t
o
OH&S
, becomes a concern to its staff or authorised service agents’ personnel.
12. T
he w
arranty is void and warranty claims may be refused, subject to the Australian Consumer Law, if:
a) T
h
e
p
roduct was not transported, installed, operated or maintained accor
d
i
n
g
to manufacturer instruction, or
b) T
he p
roduct was abused, damaged, tampered, altered or repaired by any unauthorised persons, or
c) Pr
oduc
t failure is due to accidents during use, installation
o
r tr
ansit, power surges, use of defective or incompatible
e
xtern
al devices, exposure
t
o ab
normal conditions such as excessive temperatures or humidity, or entry of liquids, object
s
or c
reatures into the product,
c
ockr
oach

nfes
tations,
or
d) T
he c
ustomer is unable to provide proof o
f p
urcha
se
o
f th
e product for ver
i
fica
tion, or
e) T
he s
erial number of the product is missing or has been tampered with.
13. W
her
e
any repairs or services required that are outside of the terms and conditions of this Warranty are requested by the cus
t
ome
r,
or where
a
fau
lt is determined to be o
u
tsid
e of the terms and conditions of the Warrant
y,
the
customer shall be charged for the cost of the
r
epai
r.
14. N
o on
e is authorised to assume any liability on behalf of TEAC or impose any obligation on it, in connection with the sale of
a
ny e
quipment
o
ther
t
han
as stated in this warranty and outlined above.

nd/or its Authorised Service Centres
r
eserve
t
he right to inspect and verify whether the product is exhibiting a major failure as claimed
by c
usto
mers/retailers.
