Designated use
The garden pumps are intended for private use
in the house and garden, and are suitable exclu-
sively for pumping clean water and rainwater, as
well as water containing chlorine (swimming pool
water). The garden pumps are suitable for:
watering and irrigation (e.g. lawns, vegetable
beds, and gardens)
for circulating and emptying containers (e.g.
swimming pools)
for removing water from fountains, rain bar-
rels, and cisterns.
Any use not in accordance with this designated
use shall be regarded as misuse.
Use the pump only with the filter provided.

notices in this manual and on the pro-
duct.
Only use the machine for its designated pur-
poses (see Designated Use).

Do not store fuelled machine in buildings
where the petrol fumes might come into
contact with naked flames or sparks!

Do not deactivate safety and protective
devices.

Keep the area around the engine, exhaust,
and fuel tank free from petrol and oil.
Wear ear defenders.
Start and operate the engine only in the open
air; operation in enclosed spaces is forbid-
den, even if doors and windows are open.
Do not operate the engine if you are under
the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication
Children, or other people who are not familiar
with the operating instructions, are not allo-
wed to use the machine.
Comply with local regulations on the mini-
mum age of people operating the equipment.
Comply with working time regulations in force
in your country.
The engine may only be used by persons who
have familiarised themselves with the instruc-
tions
Never use the engine when persons, in parti-
cular children, or animals are in the vicinity
Note that the user is responsible for accidents
and damage caused to other persons and/or
their property
Do not use starter sprays or similar products
When carrying the pump, ensure that the
pressure line connection points towards the
body.
Never smoke while refilling!
Always close the tank cap.
Switch off the engine and allow to cool down
before removing the tank cap
Do not start the engine if petrol has over-
flowed. The appliance may be cleaned, and
any attempt at ignition may be made, only
when the petrol vapours have dissipated.
Replace a damaged petrol tank and/or tank
cap.
If the fuel tank is to be drained, this must be
done outdoors and with the engine cold
Store the appliance in a dry place protected
against frost.
Possible misuse
The garden pumps must not be used in conti-
nuous operation. They are not suitable for con-
veying:
Drinking water
Salt water
Waste water
Corrosive, flammable, explosive or fuming
fluids
