INSPECTION:
CARE AND STORAGE:
To prevent damage to property or injury to yourself and others, read
instructions in their entirety before using this product.
If you are purchasing this product for use by
employees or other parties, keep instructions
where all those who will use this product will read them.
Before each use, carefully inspect the tool attachment or tool tether to ensure it
is in good working condition.
Inspect per your company’s policies and procedures and record in the
designated drop safety equipment log.
Check for wear or damage.
(a) Ensure D-Rings are secure and not distorted.
(b) Ensure self-locking carabiners work properly.
Inspect the webbing for wear, cuts, burns, frayed edges, breaks, or other damage.
Should you notice any of the above abnormalities, deformities, and/or unusual
wear or deterioration, the product must be immediately removed from service
and reported to your safety coordinator. Continued use could result in property
damage, injury, or death.
Store your equipment per your company storage guidelines.
Store in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight.
Avoid exposure to extreme heat conditions.
Do not store with chemicals, solvents, combustibles or petroleum products.
Wipe clean after use.
WARNINGS:
All personnel must be properly trained, possess appropriate safety certicates
and be competent to use tools when working at heights.
All warnings and instructions should be read and understood by all users
before using the product. Failure to do so may result in property damage,
injury or death.
Do not use this product in temperatures below -31°F ( -35°C) or above
113°F (45°C).
Product or tool must not be altered in any way.
Do no attach multiple tethers together or attach a carabiner onto itself. Only use
one tether per tool. Do not chain tethers together. Purchase the correct tether to
begin with.
Maximum load capacity is equal to the lowest capacity on your tethering system.
This is the “lowest” maximum load capacity combination of anchor, tether,
attachment, or other link within your tethering system.
If tool exceeds 5 lbs. (2.3kg), it is recommended the user attach the Tool Tether
to a structured anchor and not the user’s body. Failure to do so may result in
property damage, injury, or death.
Do not wrap tool attachment or tether around sharp or rough edges. Tool
attachments and tool tethers should not be exposed to blades, knives, or sharp
edges.
Tethers should not be used around rotating machinery or moving parts.
If tool is dropped, remove from service immediately, inspect per the inspection
procedures, and report to your safety coordinator.

Co. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, or
consequential damages associated with the misuse of the product.
DANGER
Never exceed the maximum load capacity. Refer to the individual
product label for maximum load capacity and maximum tether
length.
HOW TO USE YOUR TOOL ATTACHMENTS AND TOOL TETHERS
Tool attachments and tool tethers are designed
to reduce the risk of dropped tools.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: DRILL JACKET
WHEN TO USE DRILL JACKET
For drills weighing up to 5 lbs (2.27kg).
For drills that do not have attachment points.
For drills that have a battery pack or foot.
Reference Illustration A for Drill size range.
WHEN NOT TO USE DRILL JACKET
When drill weighs over 5 lbs (2.27kg).
When the Drill Jacket will interfere with the safe working condition of the drill.
For Drills that DO NOT have a Battery Pack or foot.
With tethers longer than 60 inches (152cm).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTACHING DRILL JACKET
Follow your company’s policies, procedures, and instructions for attaching tool jackets and tool
tethers.
Ensure the attachment point is clean, dry, and free of any grease, oil, or other substances during
the application.
Read instructions completely before and during the installation process.
1. Open Drill Jacket as shown with netting fully open as shown. (Fig. 1)
If drill has intergrated belt clip, insert clip through rectangular opening before step 2. (Fig. B)
2. Place drill into Drill Jacket with straps towards the back as shown. (Fig. 2)
3. Criss cross straps over each other as shown. (Fig. 3)
4. Ensure straps are not twisted.
5. Insert the D-rings through the slots on the bottom of the Drill Jacket as shown. (Fig. 4)
6. Secure netting around the handle by pulling the cord and sliding lock tight as shown. (Fig. 5)
7. Attach appropriately rated tool tether.
8. Visually inspect and ensure the carabiner gate fully closes and locks on both D-rings. Once
the connection is complete, test the connection to ensure the tool tether is properly attached.
9. Move the end of the cord out of the way so it does not interfere with the trigger or get caught
in moving or rotating parts.
REMEMBER TO ALWAYS INSPECT CONNECTION POINTS PRIOR TO AND AFTER EACH USE FOR
DAMAGE OR IRREGULARITIES THAT MIGHT AFFECT THE CONNECTION. APPLY 5 LBS (2.27 KG) OF
FORCE, DEPENDING ON THE TOOL ATTACHMENT LOAD RATING, WHEN INSPECTING
