Assembling the Split Shaft
This instruction is applicable to all Victa Pro Multi-Tool
attachments
1. Loosen the knob (3) on the split shaft coupling (1).
Refer Fig.-4.
2. Then push the pin (4) on the attachment shaft (2)
inwards and carefully slide the attachment shaft in

Note: When inserting attachment shaft into the
coupling, shifting of the shaft alignment by slight
rotation of the cutting head may assist with
smoother engagement.
3. Ensure that the pin (4) on the attachment shaft
locks into the corresponding hole on the coupling.
4. Then firmly re-tighten the knob (3).
5. To disassemble, reverse order of assembly.
Locking the pin into the shaft hole ()
ensures full engagement of drive shafts.
Failure to fully engage drive shafts will
damage the connection & void product

Trimmer Line Assembly - Bump Head
1. Turn the spool following the rotation arrow until the feeding indicator on the spool aligned to
the trimmer line feeding slot as in, as Fig 8.
2. When the feeding indicator is aligned to the eyelet slot, the feeding hole will be visible. It will
be a through hole, as Fig 9.
3. Feed the trimmer line into the feeding hole through the eyelet slot, as Fig 10.
4. Adjust the trimmer line so it is at equal length, both sides of the bumphead as Fig 11.
5. Turn the spool follow arrow direction until desired trimmer line length as Fig 12.
* These procedures show a close up of the bumphead. In actual, when replacing the trimmer
line, the bumphead does not need to be dismantled from the powerhead.
* A ø2.4mm nylon line is recommended to provide best performance on this split shaft
trimmer. The bumphead can be fitted with trimmer line diameters from 1.4 mm to 4.0 mm.
The maximum length of the line that can fit the head varies according to the line diameter.
The maximum length capacity using ø2.4mm is 5 meters. Do not overfill the head spool with
excessive lengths of line as it will result in ineffective spool feeding of the trimmer line.
