1. Slide new motor into the attached
perforated metal bracket. Slide loose
perforated metal bracet onto the motor
studs.
2. Attach the loose perforated metal
bracket to the bottom plate with the
two machine screws and washers.
3. Place four nuts, lock washers and at
washer on the four motor studs on left
side of motor and securely tighten.
4. Place three nuts, lock washers, at
washers onto right peforated metal
bracket leaving the top motor stud for
attaching the green ground wire later.
5A. If your model number is SGA-5R:
Slide new weights 1/4" from end of
each motor shaft. Use Loctite to se-
cure the set screw and orientate the
weights 90 degrees apart from each
other on the motor shafts as indicated
in picture to the left. Securely tighten
the set screw on each weight.
5B. If your model number is SGA-5RT:
Slide new weights 1/4" from end of
each motor shaft. Use Loctite to secure
the set screw and orientate the weights
the same direction on each of the mo-
tor shafts as indicated in picture to the
left. Securely tighten the set screw on
each weight.
6. Amplitude adjustment. Pull black am-
plitude button o.
7. Remove metal retainer nut and pull
switch out of case as far as the wire
leads will allow.
8. Look for the small blue adjusting screw.
Using a small screwdriver, turn the
screw 1/8 turn clockwise to the right
from the 3 o'clock to the 4 o'clock
position as shown. Place switch back
in case and secure with metal retainer
nut and be sure that the o position of
the switch lines up with the o position
on the outside case.
9. Connect motor leads to the two white
wires. White wire to white wire and
black wire to white wire. Motor will run
regardless of connections made.
