Installation Instructions

TX-W1 Wheel Kit

The Electro-Voice TX-W1 Wheel Kit consists of a pair of skid plates with assembled casters for use with the

TX1181 and TX2181 Loudspeakers. The skid plates also add extra protection for the rear panels of the TX1181

and TX2181. Use the following steps to mount the TX-W1 Wheel Kit to the rear panel of a TX1181 or TX2181.

1. Remove the (6) 1/4-20 bolts from the rear panel of the TX1181 or TX2181 loudspeaker.

2. Align (3) holes in the first skidplate of the TX-W1 with the top (3) holes on the loudspeaker.

3. Align (3) holes in the second skidplate of the TX-W1 with the bottom (3) holes on the loudspeaker.

4. Insert all (6) bolts through the skidplate holes and tighten into the rear panel of the loudspeaker.

CAUTION! If the skid plates are removed, replace the

1/4-20 bolts into the rear of the loudspeaker. If the bolts

are not replaced, the loudspeaker will have air leaks

resulting in undesirable performance.
