SAFETY & WARNINGS
1. Open the battery compartment located at the bottom of the dustbin and install
four (4) AA batteries.
2. Place the plastic bin liner in the centre of the press ring. Then install the bottom
tub, press it firmly in place and then put the upper tub on top of the bottom tub.
3. Turn on the power switch at the rear of the dustbin. The red indicator light will stay
on for 2 seconds and then flash every 4 seconds. This indicates that the bin is in
normal operating condition.
4. When throwing rubbish into it, just keep your hand/object about 10-15cm above
the sensor, the lid will open automatically within 0.5 second and will close
automatically in about 5-6 seconds after your hand/object are removed from the
sensor area. Keeping you hand/object within the sensor area will keep it open.
5. If you press the "Open" on the control panel, the lid will remain open for 90
seconds or until you press the "Close" button.
6. The indicator light flashes red (every 4 seconds):
When the lid opens, the indicator light turns green.
When the lid closes, the indicator light turns solid red.
7. The batteries can up to 3-6 months under normal usages (dustbin opens and
closes 20 times one day).
