Adjusting the position of the
washing machine.
The washing machine is provided
with adjustable feet. Before use,
adjust the feet until the appliance is
level, as shown in figure 3.
Connecting Water Supply
Attach the end of the hose to your "water tap spigot”. Ensure the correct brass
end of the hose is attached to your water supply for proper fit (fig 5). Note that
the ends are different. Also ensure that you match up cold spigot cold connection
on machine (notice 'C' and "H" indications next to connection on machine.). Now
12
connect hot to hot. If supply hose connection do not fit your spigot, try your local
home center to match up correct connections. Home centers also have "Y'
connectors and couplings which enable you to connect the machine to your
sink's faucet.
Connecting Drain / Waste hose
The drain hose must exhaust into a drainpipe of at least 1-1/2 in diameter drain into
a sink. Use "the goose neck" to hold the neck in place and to avoid water back up.
To avoid possible water back up, the drain hose must reach a height of at least "32"
and a recommended maximum height of "40" (fig 6). If the drain sink is less than 32
route the drain hose through the clip on the back of the machine.
The first time you use the machine, inspect carefully for leaks. If a leak occurs,
double-check your connections, and if possible call our service hotline for
assistance.

Operating Instructions
1. Know your machine
This front load washing machine is probably different from the machine you have
used in the past. It uses less water and requires less detergent. Follow directions
on detergent packaging. We recommend low sub sing detergent made for front
load machines. You will probably use the machine several times before you find
the perfect amount of detergent needed for the amount of clothes you wash.
2. Detergent Compartments
The detergent compartment has three separate chambers (figure 7). "1" is for
pre-wash detergent. "2" is for wash detergent, "3" is for fabric softener, starch or
scents.
You can load pre-wash and wash detergents into compartments prior to starting
machine. Note; Do not use liquid detergents for pre-wash. Fabric softeners can
only be added during the final rinse cycle.
Front load machines use less water and require less detergent. The tumbling
action more effectively mixes clothes and consequently creates more sub sing.
We recommend a low sub sing detergent for best results. If you use regular
detergent, use less than the amount recommended on the package. You can
always add more. Over time, you will determine the amount right for you.
3. Water Level Selection
If you are only washing small or medium load, you may want to push the "Load"
button. This reduces water used in the rinse cycle by 50%.
15
4. Spin Cycle Selection
If you want to extract more water from your clothes during the wash cycle, push
the "Spin" button out. Clothes will be drier when this option is selected. If you
don’t want to extract more water from your clothes using the spin cycle, push the
"Spin" button in. If this section is selected, only the excess water in the tub will
drain leaving the clothes wet.
5. Water Temperature
The water temperature is automatically set according to the program you select.
Within the cotton cycle, for 'Pre-wash", cold water is used. : “Normal" utilizes hot,
"Quick" utilizes warm and "Express" uses cold water.
Within the synthetic cycle, "Normal" utilizes warm water while "Quick" utilizes
cold water. In the wool cycle cold water is used.
6. Selecting "Wash Cycle"
Note: Always turn knob clockwise.
7. "Cycle Selector Knob"
Please not that the "Cycle Selector Knob" has different settings to accommodate
your laundering needs.
8. "Cotton Cycle"
Cotton cycle is the most often used cycle. For hot water and heavily soiled
garments, turn "Cycle Selector Knob' clockwise to the 'Normal' position (within
the "Cotton Cycle"). Optimum cleaning results from a combination of time and
temperature. Set on "Normal", the machine is designed to run for approximately
140 minutes.
For most of your tendering and for warm water, turn the "Cycle Selector Knob"
clockwise to the "Quick” position. The normal wash time is approximately 79
minutes.
For extremely soiled garments, some people like to utilize the "Pre-Wash" cycle.
This is accomplished by setting the "Cycle Selector Knob" to "Pre-Wash". The
machine will pre-wash in cold water and then go through the "Normal", 'Quick'
and ‘Express' wash cycles.
16
9. Synthetic Cycle
The synthetic cycle provides a more gentle wash. Turn the "Cycle Selector Knob"
clockwise to "Normal" position within the synthetic cycle. Warm water will be
used on this setting. This cycle last approximately 73 minutes.
10. Wool or Delicate cycle
The wool or delicate cycle is the quickest of all three cycles. It utilizes cold water
and has slow agitation speed. The entire cycle lasts approximately 27 minutes.
When washing wool or delicate garments, spin water extraction is not available
because spinning can sometimes be rough on delicate garments and cause
damage and creasing. For this reason, the machine was designed to drain and
stop after the wash cycle. It will not spin your garments. For best results, remove
your garments and hang them to dry.
11. Operation Sequence
a. Load garments into machine.
b. Decide if water saver is desired and select accordingly.
c. Turn "Cycle Selector Knob" clockwise to desired wash cycle.
d. Add pre-wash detergent, laundry detergent or bleach as desired.
e. Push On/Off button.
f. Wash sequence will automatically complete.
g. When wash cycle is complete, the machine will shut off. At this time, turn off
the machine by pushing the "On/Off" button. If you are not around at the
completion of the cycle, push "On/Off" upon your return.
h. Remove garments from machine.
12. Casters
For your convenience, your machine comes with casters so you can move it
whenever you want to. Casters are located at the bottom front, right and left side
of the machine. Put both hands in a small gap where caster levers are located.
Simply pull them out toward you. When the machine moves to appropriate
location, just push caster levers back into position.
