grinding and cutting metal and masonry using the
appropriate type of cutting or grinding disc. The
tool must be tted with theappropriate guard. This
tool is intended for professional and private, non
professional users.
Safety instructions
General power tool safety warnings
WARNING! Read all safety warnings
and all instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions listed below
may result in electric shock, re and/or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference. The term “power tool” in all of the warn-
ings listed below refers to your mains operated
(corded) power tool or battery operated (cordless)
power tool.
1. Work area safety
a. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered
or dark areas invite accidents.
b. Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power
tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or
fumes.
c. Keep children and bystanders away while
operating a power tool. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
2. Electrical safety
a. Power tool plugs must match the outlet.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do not
use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools. Unmodied plugs
and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric
shock.
b. Avoid body contact with earthed or
grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an

3. Personal safety
a. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when operating a power

tool. Do not use a power tool while you are
tired or under the inuence of drugs,
alcohol or medication. A moment of
inattention while operating power tools may
result in serious personal injury.
b. Use personal protective equipment. Always
wear eye protection. Protective equipment
such as dust mask, nonskid safety shoes, hard
hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the
switch is in the off-position before
connecting to power source and/or battery
pack, picking up or carrying the tool.
Carrying power tools with your nger on the
switch or energising power tools that have the
switch on invites accidents.
d. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before
turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key
left attached to a rotating part of the power tool
may result in personal injury.
e. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. This enables better
control of the power tool in unexpected
situations.
f. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing
or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and
gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in
moving parts.
g. If devices are provided for the connection of
dust extraction and collection facilities,
ensure these are connected and properly
used. Use of dust collection can reduce
dust-related hazards.
4. Power tool use and care
a. Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
power tool for your application. The correct
power tool will do the job better and safer at the
rate for which it was designed.
b. Do not use the power tool if the switch does
not turn it on and off. Any power tool that
cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
c. Disconnect the plug from the power source
and/or the battery pack from the power tool
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing power tools. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the power tool accidentally.
d. Store idle power tools out of the reach of
children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these
instructions to operate the power tool.

edges are less likely to bind and are easier to

g. Use the power tool, accessories and tool
bits etc. in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the
working conditions and the work to be
performed. Use of the power tool for
operations different from those intended could
result in a hazardous situation.
5. Battery tool use and care
a) Recharge only with the charger specied by
the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for
one type of battery pack may create a risk of
re when used with another battery pack.
b) Use power tools only with specically
designated battery packs. Use of any other
battery packs may create a risk of injury and
re.
c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects, like paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws or other small
metal objects, that can make a connection
from one terminal to another. Shorting the
battery terminals together may cause burns or
a re.
d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be
ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contact accidentally occurs, ush with water. If
liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical
help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
6. Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualied
repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the power tool is maintained.

u This power tool is intended to function as a
grinder, sander, wire brush, polisher or
cut-off tool. Read all safety warnings,
instructions, illustrations and speci-
cations provided with this power tool.
Failure to follow all instructions listed below
may result in electric shock, re and/or serious
injur.
u Operations for which the power tool was not
designed may create a hazard and cause
personal injury.
u Do not use accessories which are not
specicallydesigned and recommended by
the tool manufacturer. Just because the
accessory can be attached to your power tool, it
does not assure safe operation.
u The rated speed of the accessory must be at
least equal to the maximum speed marked
on the power tool. Accessories running faster
than their rated speed can break and y apar.
u The outside diameter and the thickness of
your accessory must be within the capacity
rating of your power tool. Incorrectly sized
accessories cannot be adequately guarded or
controlled.
u Threaded mounting of accessories must
match the grinder spindle thread. For
accessories mounted by anges, the arbour
hole of the accessory must t thlocating

accessory. After inspecting and installing an
accessory, position yourself and bystanders
away from the plane of the rotating
accessory and run the power tool at
maximum no load speed for one minute.
Damaged accessories will normally break apart
during this test time.
u Wear personal protective equipment.
Depending on application, use face shield,
safety goggles or safety glasses. As
appropriate, wear dust mask, hearing
protectors, gloves and workshop apron
capable of stopping small abrasive or
workpiece fragments. The eye protection
must be capable of stopping yingdebris
generated by various operations. The dust
mask or respirator must be capable of ltering
particles generatedby your operation.
Prolonged exposure to high intensity noise may
cause hearing loss.
u Keep bystanders a safe distance away from
work area. Anyone entering the work area
must wear personal protective equipment.
Fragments of workpiece or of a broken
accessory may y away and cause injury
beyondimmediate area of operation.
u Hold power tool by insulated gripping
surfaces only, when performing an
operation where the cutting accessory may
contact hidden wiring or its own cord.
Cutting accessory contacting a “live” wire may
make exposed metal parts of the power tool
“live” and could give the operator an electric
shock.
u Position the cord clear of the spinning
accessory. If you lose control, the cord may be
cut or snagged and your hand or arm may be
pulled into the spinning accessory.
u Never lay the power tool down until the
accessory has come to a complete stop. The
spinning accessory may grab the surface and
pull the power tool out of your control.
u Do not run the power tool while carrying it
at your side. Accidental contact with the
spinning accessory could snag your clothing,

Further Safety Instructions for All Opera-
tions
Kickback and Related Warnings
Kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched or
snagged rotating wheel, backing pad, brush or any
other accessory. Pinching or snagging causes rap-
id stalling of the rotating accessory which in turn
causes the uncontrolled power tool to be forced in
the direction opposite of the accessory’s rotation at
the point of the binding.
For example, if an abrasive wheel is snagged or
pinched by the workpiece, the edge of the wheel
that is entering into the pinch point can dig into the
surface of the material causing the wheel to climb
out or kick out. The wheel may either jump toward
or away from the operator, depending on direction
of the wheel’s movement at the point of pinching.
Abrasive wheels may also break under these
conditions.
Kickback is the result of tool misuse and/or incor-
rect operating procedures or conditions and can
be avoided by taking proper precautions as given
below:
u Maintain a rm grip on the power tool and
position your body and arm to allow you to
resist kickback forces. Always use auxiliary
handle, if provided, for maximum control over
kickback or torque reaction during start up. The
operator can control torque reaction or kickback
forces, if proper precautions are taken.
u Never place your hand near the rotating
accessory. Accessory may kickback over
your hand.
u Do not position your body in the area where
power tool will move if kickback occurs.
Kickback will propel the tool in direction
opposite to the wheel’s movement at the point
of snagging.
u Use special care when working corners,
sharp edges etc. Avoid bouncing and
snagging the accessory. Corners, sharp
edges or bouncing have a tendency to snag the
rotating accessory and cause loss of control or
kickback.
u Do not attach a saw chain woodcarving
blade or toothed saw blade. Such blades
create frequent kickback and loss of control.
Safety Warnings Specic for Grinding and
Abrasive Cutting-Off Operations:
u Use only wheel types that are recommended
for your power tool and the specic guard
designed for theselected wheel. Wheels for
which the power tool was not designed cannot
be adequately guarded and are unsafe.
u The grinding surface of centre depressed
wheels must be mounted below the plane of
the guard lip. An improperly mounted wheel
that projects through the plane of the guard lip
cannot be adequately protected.
u The guard must be securely attached to the
power tool and positioned for maximum
safety, so the least amount of wheel is
exposed towards the operator. The guard
helps to protect operator from broken wheel
fragments, accidental contact with wheel and
sparks that could ignite clothing.
u Wheels must be used only for
recommended applications. For example: do
not grind with the side of cut-off wheel. Abrasive
cut-off wheels are intended for peripheral
grinding, side forces applied to these wheels
may cause them to shatter.
u Always use undamaged wheel anges that
are ofcorrect size and shape for your
selected wheel. Proper wheel anges support
the wheel thus reducing the possibility of wheel
breakage. Flanges for cut-off wheels may be
different from grinding wheel anges.
u Do not use worn down wheels from larger
power tools. Wheel intended for larger power
tool is not suitable for the higher speed of a
smaller tool and may burst.
Additional safety warnings specic for
abrasivecutting-off operations
u Do not “jam” the cut-off wheel or apply
excessive pressure. Do not attempt to make
an excessive depth of cut. Over stressing the
wheel increases the loading and susceptibility
to twisting or binding of the wheel in the cut and
the possibility of kickback or wheel breakage.
u Do not position your body in line with and
behind the rotating wheel. When the wheel, at
the point of operation, is moving away from
your body, the possible kickback may propel
the spinning wheel and the power tool directly
at you.
u When wheel is binding or when interrupting
a cut for any reason, switch off the power

tool and hold the power tool motionless
until the wheel comes to a complete stop.
Never attempt to remove the cut-off wheel
from the cut while the wheel is in motion
otherwise kickback may occur. Investigate
and take corrective action to eliminate the
cause of wheel binding.
u Do not restart the cutting operation in the
workpiece. Let the wheel reach full speed
and carefully reenter the cut. The wheel may
bind, walk up or kickback if the power tool is
restarted in the workpiece.
u Support panels or any oversized workpiece
to minimise the risk of wheel pinching and
kickback. Large workpieces tend to sag under
their own weight. Supports must be placed
under the workpiece near the line of cut and
near the edge of the workpiece on both sides of
the wheel.
u Use extra caution when making a “pocket
cut” into existing walls or other blind areas.
The protruding wheel may cut gas or water
pipes, electrical wiring or objects that can cause
kickback.
Safety warnings specic for sanding
operatio
u Do not use excessively oversized sanding
disc paper. Follow manufacturers
recommendations, when selecting sanding
paper. Larger sanding paper extending beyond
the sanding pad presents a laceration hazard
and may cause snagging, tearing of the disc or
kickback.
Safety warnings specic for polishing
operations
u Do not allow any loose portion of the
polishing bonnet or its attachment strings to
spin freely. Tuck away or trim any loose
attachment strings. Loose and spinning
attachment strings can entangle your ngers or
snag onthe workpiece.
Safety warnings specic for operations
u Be aware that wire bristles are thrown by
the brush even during ordinary operation.
Do not overstress the wires by applying
excessive load. The wire bristles can easily
penetrate light clothing and/or skin.
u If the use of a guard is recommended for
wire brushing, do not allow any interference
of the wire wheel or brush with the guard.
Wire wheel or brush may expand in diameter
due to work load and centrifugal forces.
Warning! Contact with or inhalation of
dusts arising from sanding applications
may endanger the health of the operator
and possible bystanders. Wear a dust
mask specically designed forprotection
against dust and fumes and ensure that
persons within or entering the work area
are also protected.
Safety of others
u This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
u Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
Residual risks
Additional residual risks may arise when using the
tool which may not be included in the enclosed
safety warnings. These risks can arise from mis-
use, prolonged use etc.Even with the application of
the relevant safety regulations and the implemen-
tation of safety devices, certain residual risks can
not be avoided. These include:

Assembly
Warning! Before assembly, remove the battery
from the tool.
Fitting and removing the guard
(fig. B1,B2)
u Place the angle grinder on a at and steady
surface,spindle (19) up (g. B1)
u Align the 3 lugs (8) with the 3 slots (9) in
gearcase cover.
u Press the guard (5) down and turn it in the
direction of the arrow until it is in the working
position providing maximum protection to the
user (g. B2)
u Insert the bolt (11) to the holes on the bracket.
Screw the nut (12) on the thread of the bolt.
Use crosshead screwdriver (13) (not supply) to
tighten the bolt and nut.
Note: Do not operate the grinder with a loose
guard.
Removing
u Follow the procedure above in reverse order.

Mounting and Removing Grinding Wheels
or Cutting Discs (Fig. C1, C2, C3 & D)
Your grinder comes with two reversible anges to
accommodate a wide variety of different accesso-
ries. Make sure the correct sides of the anges are

being used ensuring no excessive play between
the accessory and the anges.
Mounting
u Place the inner ange (17) on the grinder
spindle (19) (g.C1)
u Place the wheel (6) against the ange. Screw
the threaded ange (18) onto the spindle (19).
(g. C2).
u Make sure that the threaded outer ange (18) is
facing in the correct direction for the type of disc
tted. For grinding discs, the ange (18) is tted
with the raised portion facing towards the disc
(g. C3).
u Press in the spindle lock button (4) and rotate
the spindle until it locks. Keeping the lock
button pressed in, tighten the threaded ange
(18) with the spanner (7) provided (g. D)
Release the spindle lock.
Fitting and removing sanding backing
pads (g. E & F)
For sanding, a backing pad is required. The back-
ing pad is available from your Stanley dealer as an
accessory.
Fitting
u Place the inner ange (17) onto the spindle (19)
as shown (g. F). Make sure that the ange is
correctly located on the at sides of the inner
ange.
u Place the backing pad (6) onto the spindle.
u Place the outer sanding ange (18) onto the
spindle with the raised centre facing towards
the disc.
u Keep the spindle lock (4) depressed and tighten
the outer ange using the two-pin spanner (7)
(g. E). Make sure that the outer ange is tted
correctly and that the disc is clamped tightly.
Removing
u Keep the spindle lock (4) depressed and loosen
the outer ange (18) using the two-pin spanner
(15) (g. E).
u Remove the outer ange (18), the sanding disc
(16) and the backing pad (6).
Fitting and removing hubbed wheels
Hubbed wheels and cups install directly on the
M14 threaded spindle (19).
Caution! To reduce the risk of personal injury,
wear work gloves when handling wire brushes and
wheels. They can become sharp.
Caution! To reduce the risk of damage to the
tool, wheel must not touch guard when mounted
or while in use. Undetectable damage could occur
to the accessory, causing wires to fragment from
accessory wheel or cup.
Fitting
u Thread the hubbed wheel or cup on to the
spindle (19) by hand.
u Keep the spindle lock (4) depressed and tighten
the hub of the wheel or cup with a wrench.
Removing
u Keep the spindle lock (4) depressed and loosen
the hub of the wheel or cup with a wrench.
u Remove the wheel or cup from the spindle (19).
Fitting and removing the battery (g. G)
u To t the battery (22), line it up with the
receptacle on the tool. Slide the battery into the
receptacle and push until the battery snaps into
place.
u To remove the battery, push the release buttons
(23) while at the same time pulling the battery
out of the receptacle.
Use
Warning! Let the tool work at its own pace. Do not
overload.
u Be prepared for a stream of sparks when the
grinding or cutting disc touches the workpiece.
u Always position the tool in such a way that the
guard provides optimum protection from the
grinding or cutting disc.
Charging the battery (g. A)
Warning! Do not charge the battery at ambient
temperatures below 10 °C or above 40 °C. Recom-
mended charging temperature: approx. 24 °C.
Note: The charger will not charge a battery if the
cell temperature is below approximately
0 °C or above 40 °C.The battery should be left in
the charger and the charger will begin to charge
automatically when the cell temperature warms up
or cools down.
u To charge the battery (22), insert it into the
charger (21). The battery will only t into the
charger in one way. Do not force. Be sure that

the battery is fully seated in the charger.
u Plug in the charger and switch on at the mains.
The charging indicator (20) will ash green (slow-
ly).The charge is complete when the charging
indicator (20) lights green continuously. The
charger and the battery can be left connected
indenitely with the LED illuminated. The LED will
change to ashing green (charging) state as the
charger occasionally tops up the battery charge.
The charging indicator (20) will be lit as long as the
battery is connected to the plugged in charger.
u Charge discharged batteries within 1 week.
Battery life will be greatly diminished if stored in
a discharged state.
Leaving the battery in the charger
The charger and battery pack can be left connect-
ed with the LED glowing indenitely. The charger
will keep the battery pack fresh and fully charged.
Charger diagnostics
If the charger detects a weak or damaged battery,
the charging indicator (20) will ash red at a fast
rate. Proceed as follows:
u Reinsert the battery (22).
u If the charging indicators continues ashing red
at a fast rate, use a different battery to
determine if the charging process works
properly.
u If the replaced battery charges correctly, the
original battery is defective and should be
returned to a service centre for recycling.
u If the new battery gives the same indication as
the original battery, take the charger to be
tested at an authorised services centre.
Note: It may take as long as 60 minutes to deter-
mine that the battery is defective. If the battery is
too hot or too cold, the LED will alternately blink
red, fast and slow, one ash at each speed and
repeat.
Switching on and off
u To switch on, slide the lock off switch (1)
forward then press and hold the trigger switch
(2).
u To switch off, release the trigger switch (2).
Warning! Do not switch the tool on or off while
under load.
Warning! Always slide the lock off switch (1)
backwards to the locked position when the tool is
not in use.
Hints for optimum use
u Firmly hold the tool with one hand around
the side handle and the other hand around
the main handle.
Surface grinding with grinding wheels
u Allow the tool to reach full speed before
touching the tool to the work surface.
u u Apply minimum pressure to the work surface,
allowing the tool to operate at high speed.
Grinding rate is greatest when the tool operates
at high speed.
u Maintain a 20˚ to 30˚ angle between the tool
and work surface.
u Continuously move the tool in a forward and
back motion to avoid creating gouges in the
work surface.
u Remove the tool from work surface before
turning tool off. Allow the tool to stop rotating
before laying it down.
Edge grinding with grinding wheels
Wheels used for cutting and edge grinding may
break or kick back if they bend or twist while the
tool is being used to do cut-off work or deep grind-
ing. To reduce the risk of serious injury, limit the
use of these wheels with a standard Type 27 guard
to shallow cutting and notching (less than 13mm in
depth). The open side of the guard must be posi-
tioned away from the operator. For deeper cutting
with a Type 1 cut-off wheel, use a closed Type 1
guard. See the Grinding and cutting chart which
can be found at the back of language section.
u Allow the tool to reach full speed before
touching the tool to the work surface.
u Apply minimum pressure to the work surface,
allowing the tool to operate at high speed.
Grinding rate is greatest when the tool operates
at high speed.

Using sanding backing pads
Choose the proper grit sanding discs for your
application. Sanding discs are available in various
grits. Coarse grits yield faster material removal
rates and a rougher nish.
Finer grits yield slower material removal and a
smoother nish.
Begin with coarse grit discs for fast, rough material
removal. Move to a medium grit paper and nish
with a ne grit disc for optimal nish.
u Coarse 16 - 30 grit
u Medium 36 - 80 grit
u Fine Finishing 100 - 120 grit
u Very Fine Finishing 150 - 180 grit
u Allow the tool to reach full speed before
touching tool to the work surface.
u Apply minimum pressure to work surface,
allowing the tool to operate at high speed.
Sanding rate is greatest when the tool operates
at high speed.
u Maintain a 5˚ to 15˚ angle between the tool and
work surface. The sanding disc should contact
approximately 25mm of work surface.
u Move the tool constantly in a straight line to
prevent burning and swirling of work surface.
Allowing the tool to rest on the work surface
without moving, or moving the tool in a circular
motion causes burning and swirling marks on
the work surface.
u Remove the tool from work surface before
turning tool off. Allow the tool to stop rotating
before laying it down.
Using wire cup brushes and wire wheels
Wire wheels and brushes can be used for re-
moving rust, scale and paint, and for smoothing
irregular surfaces.
Note: The same precautions should be taken when
wire brushng paint as when sanding paint.
u Allow the tool to reach full speed before
touching the tool to the work surface.
u Apply minimum pressure to work surface,
allowing the tool to operate at high speed.
Material removal rate is greatest when the tool
operates at high speed.
u Maintain a 5˚ to 10˚ angle between the tool and
work surface for wire cup brushes.
u Maintain contact between the edge of the wheel
and the work surface with wire wheels.
u Continuously move the tool in a forward and
back motion to avoid creating gouges in the
work surface. Allowing the tool to rest on the
work surface without moving, or moving the tool
in a circular motion causes burning and swirling
marks on the work surface.
u Remove the tool from the work surface before
turning the tool off. Allow the tool to stop
rotating before setting it down.
Use extra care when working over an edge, as
a sudden sharp movement of grinder may be
experienced.
Precautions to take when sanding paint
u Sanding of lead based paint is NOT
RECOMMENDED due to the difculty of
controlling the contaminated dust. The greatest
danger of lead poisoning is to children and
pregnant women.
u Since it is difcult to identify whether or not a
paint contains lead without a chemical analysis,
we recommend the following precautions when
sanding any paint:
Personal safety
u No children or pregnant women should enter
the work area where the paint sanding is being
done until all clean up is completed.
u A dust mask or respirator should be worn by all
persons entering the work area. The lter
should be replaced daily or whenever the
wearer has difculty breathing.

Note: Only those dust masks suitable for working
with lead paint dust and fumes should be used.
Ordinary painting masks do not offer this protec-
tion. See your local hardware dealer for the proper
respiratory protection.
u NO EATING, DRINKING or SMOKING should
be done in the work area to prevent ingesting
contaminated paint particles. Workers should
wash and clean up BEFORE eating, drinking or
smoking. Articles of food, drink, or smoking
should not be left in the work area where dust
would settle on them.
Environmental safety
u Paint should be removed in such a manner as
to minimize the amount of dust generated.
u Areas where paint removal is occurring should
be sealed with plastic sheeting of 4 mils
thickness.
u Sanding should be done in a manner to reduce
tracking of paint dust outside the work area.
Cleaning and disposal
u All surfaces in the work area should be
vacuumed and thoroughly cleaned daily for the
duration of the sanding project. Vacuum lter
bags should be changed frequently.
u Plastic drop cloths should be gatheredup and
disposed of along with any dust chips or other
removal debris. They should be placed in
sealed refuse receptacles and disposed of
through regular trash pick up procedures.
During clean up, children and pregnant women
should be kept away from the immediate work
area.
u All toys, washable furniture and utensils used
by children should be washed thoroughly before
being used again.
Using cutting wheels

guard for cutting off operations part number is
available and can be obtained from Stanley ser-
vice centres. Further information for guard types

cutting chart which can be found at the back of this
language section. The performance of your tool
depends on the accessory used. Stanley

Maintenance
Your Stanley corded/cordless appliance/tool has
been designed to operate over a long period of
time with a minimum of maintenance. Continuous
satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool
care and regular cleaning.
Warning! Before performing any maintenance on
corded/cordless power tools:
u Switch off and unplug the appliance/tool.
u Or switch off and remove the battery from the
appliance/tool if the appliance/tool has a
separate battery pack.
u Or run the battery down completely if it is
integral and then switch off.

充電器

電氣安全
#
您的充電器採用雙重絕緣,因此不需要使用
接地線。請務必檢查主電壓是否與銘牌一

務中心進行更換以避免發生危險。

安裝和卸下防護罩(圖 B1, B2)
安裝
u 將角磨機放置在平穩的表面上,心軸(19)朝上
(圖B1)。
u 將護罩支架(10)上的3個凸耳(8)與齒輪箱蓋
上的3個凹槽(9)對齊。
u 把護罩(5)向下按,朝箭頭方向旋轉,直至工
作位置,能夠為使用者提供最大程度的保護(圖
B2)。
u 將螺栓(11)插入支架上的孔中。把螺母(12)
擰到螺栓的螺紋上,使用十字花螺絲刀(13)
(未提供)來緊固螺栓螺母。
註:護罩不牢固時,禁止使用工具。
拆卸
以相反的順序執行上述步。
研磨輪的安裝與拆卸(圖 C1,C2,C3 E)
本工具配有兩個可逆法蘭,能夠適應各種類型的配
件。請確保法蘭面方向,防止配件和法蘭之間的運
動量過大。
安裝
u 把內法蘭(17)放置到角磨機心軸(19)上(圖
C1)。
u 使研磨輪(6)緊靠法蘭,然後把螺紋法蘭擰到
心軸(19)上(圖C2)。
u 對於所裝磨片的類型,請確保螺紋外法蘭(18)
面的方向是正確的。對於研磨片,法蘭(18)的
凸起面朝向磨片(圖C3)。
u 按下心軸鎖按鈕(4),旋轉心軸直至鎖定,保
持按下鎖定按鈕,使用所提供的扳手(7)來緊
固螺紋法蘭(18)(圖 E)。
u 釋放心軸鎖。
拆卸
u 以相反的順序執行上述步
安裝和卸下砂光支撐墊(圖 E 和 F)
對於砂光,需要使用支撐墊。Stanley將支撐墊作
為配件提供給使用者。
安裝
u 將內法蘭(17)放置在心軸(19)上,如圖所示(圖
F)。確保凸緣正確置於心軸的平側。
u 將砂光支撐墊(6)放置於內法蘭上。
u 將外法蘭(18)放置於心軸上,中心凸起朝向切
盤。
u 按住心軸鎖(4)並使用兩個帶銷扳手(7)擰緊外部
凸緣(圖E)。確保外部凸緣正確安裝並且緊夾切
盤。
卸下
u 按住心軸鎖(4)並使用兩個帶銷扳手(7)鬆開外法
蘭(圖E)。
u 卸下外法蘭(18)、砂光(16)和支撐墊(6)。
安裝側把手柄
u 把手柄(3)牢固地擰到齒輪箱上的三個孔中的
任意一個內。
安裝和卸下電池(圖 H)
u 若要安裝電池(22),請將它與工具上的插座對
齊。將電池滑入電池盒,然後推動直到電池卡入
到位。
u 若要卸下電池,請按下釋放按鈕(23),同時將電
池從插座中拉出。
使用說明
警告!請勿使工具超出本身之設計速度操作。請勿
使它過載。
u 當打磨切盤或切割切盤接觸到工件時,請準備好
避開一連串的火花。
u 務必將工具置於防護罩可以提供最佳防護的位
置,以避免打磨切盤或切割切盤造成傷害。
為電池充電(圖 A)
警告!請勿在環境溫度低於 10 °C 或高於 4 0°C 的情
況下為電池充電。推薦的充電溫度:約 24 °C。
註:如果電池溫度低於約 0 °C 或高於 40 °C,充電器
將無法為電池充電。電池應留在充電器中,電池溫
度升高或降低後,充電器將自動開始充電。
u 若要為電池(22)充電,請將它插入充電器(21)
中。電池僅可以一個方向裝入充電器。請勿強行
裝入。確保電池完全放入充電器。
u 插入充電器插頭並打開電源。
充電指示燈(20)會持續閃爍綠燈(緩慢)。當充電指
示燈(20)持續發綠光時,表示充電完成。充電器和
電池可以在 LED 亮起的情況下無限期地保持連接。
偶然情況下,當充電器為電池充滿電時,LED 會變
為閃爍綠光(正在充電)的狀態。只要電池連接至插
入插頭的充電器,充電指示燈(20)將亮起。
u 1 週內為電量已耗盡的電池充電。如果在電池
耗盡的狀態下儲存,電池壽命將會極大地縮短。
將電池留在充電器中
充電器和電池組可以在 LED 亮起的情況下無限期地

保持連接。充電器會為電池組充滿電,保持電池電
量充足。
充電器診斷
如果充電器偵測到電池電量低或已損毀,充電指示
燈(20)將快速閃爍紅光。請按以下方式進行:
u 重新插入電池(22)。
u 如果充電指示燈繼續快速閃紅光,則使用其他電
池以確定充電過程是否正常。
u 如果更換的電池可正常充電,則原電池已損壞,
請將電池送回維修中心進行回收。
u 如果新電池發出的指示與原電池的相同,請將充
電器送回授權維修中心進行測試。
註:可能需要 60 分鐘才能確定電池是否受損。如
果電池溫度過高或過低,LED 將以交替方式快速或
緩慢地閃爍紅光,每種速度閃爍一次,然後不斷重
複。
開啟與關閉
u 要開啟工具,請向前滑動鎖止開關(1)並按住觸
發開關(2)。
u 若要關閉工具,鬆開觸發開關(2)即可。
警告!切勿在負載下接通和關閉工具電源。
警告!如不使用工具,請務必將鎖止開關(1)向後
滑動至鎖定位置。
最佳使用提示
u 請使用一只手握住側手柄,另一只手握住
主手柄。
使用砂輪進行表面打磨
u 讓工具達到全速然後再將工具移至工作表面。
u 施加最小壓力到工作表面上,讓工具在高速下工
作。當工具在高速下工作時,打磨率最大。
u 讓工具與工作表面之間的角度保持 20° - 30°。
u 持續地前後移動工具,避免在工作表面上留下槽
孔。
u 從工作表面移除工具,然後再關閉工具。讓工具

使用砂輪進行邊緣打磨
若用來切削和邊緣打磨的砂輪在工具用於切削工作
或深打磨時出現彎曲或扭曲,則可能發生碎裂或反
衝。防護罩開口側不得朝向操作人員。
u 讓工具達到全速然後再將工具移至工作表面。
u 施加最小壓力到工作表面上,讓工具在高速下工
作。當工具在高速下工作時,打磨率最大。
u 不要站在砂輪開口的下側。
u 一旦開始切削並在工件留下缺口,請勿改變切削
角度。改變角度會造成砂輪彎曲並可能導致砂輪
斷裂。邊緣打磨砂輪的設計無法承受彎曲造成的
側壓力。
u 從工作表面移除工具,然後再關閉工具。讓工具
停止旋轉後再將其放下。
請勿將邊緣打磨/切削砂輪用於表面打磨,因為這些
砂輪的設計無法承受表面打磨所遇到的側壓力。可
能導致砂輪斷裂和人身傷害。
使用砂紙盤進行表面砂光
u 讓工具達到全速然後再將工具移至工作表面。
u 施加最小壓力到工作表面上,讓工具在高速下工
作。當工具在高速下工作時,砂光率最大。
u 讓工具與工作表面之間的角度保持 5° - 10°。

使用砂光支撐墊
為您的應用選擇合適粒度的砂盤。砂盤提供多種粒
度。粗砂可產生較快的材料去除率和較粗糙的表面
光潔度。
細砂可產生較慢的材料去除率和較平滑的表面光潔
度。
首先使用粗砂盤快速粗糙地去除材料。然後使用粗
細適中的砂紙砂光,最後使用細砂盤,以達到最佳
的表面光潔度。
u 粗糙,粒度為 16 - 30
u 適中,粒度為 36 - 80
u 精細砂光,粒度為 100 - 120
u 極精細砂光,粒度為 150 - 180
u 讓工具達到全速然後再將工具移至工作表面。
u 施加最小壓力到工作表面上,讓工具在高速下工
作。
u 讓工具與工作表面之間的角度保持 5° - 15°。
砂盤應與工作表面接觸大約 25mm
u 沿直線持續移動工具,以防止工作表面上留下發
熱或旋轉標記。讓工具停留在工作表面上而不移
動或讓工具做圓周運動會造成工作表面上留下發
熱或旋轉標記。
u 從工作表面移除工具,然後再關閉工具。
使用鋼絲輪
鋼絲輪可用於移除鐵鏽、氧化皮和油漆,以及使不
規則表面變平滑。
註:油漆刷光和油漆砂光應採取相同的預防措施。
