TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Potential Solution
No Power 1. Check the mains connection.
2. Check the ON/OFF switch is in the ON
position.
The motor stops suddenly The thermal cut-out device that prevents
during use the Pressure Washer from overheating has
activated. Allow to cool for 20 mins
before re-using.
The Pressure Washer does not 1. Bleed the machine. Allow the pump
reach working pressure to run without the high pressure hose until
the water coming out of the high pressure
outlet no longer contains any bubbles then
re-connect the high pressure hose.
2. Clean the filter in the water connection.
3. Check the water supply flow.
4. Check the supply pipes for leakages or
blockages.
There are major fluctuations 1. Clean the high pressure nozzle
in pressure 2. Remove any dirt from the apertures with
a needle.
Leaking pump It is normal for a small amount of seepage
from the pump. However, larger leaks are
abnormal and should be fixed before
continuing use.
BEFORE USE
Check the item including hose and power cable for damaged before first use.
Do not use if damaged in any way.
• The device must be connected to the electricity and water supply.
• Disconnect the high-pressure hose (7).
• Switch on the device and allow it to run until the water coming out of the
h
igh-pressure connection no longer contains any bubbles.
• Switch off the machine at the main switch (1) and re-connect the high-
pressure hose (7) back on.
OPERATION
Connection
• Use a hose to connect the water connection (3) to the water supply.
• Open the water supply and check for any leaks. A low level of water loss by the
pump is normal.
• Insert the mains plug (9) into the mains socket and switch on.
• Turn the main ON/OFF switch (1) on.
Use
• The jet of water emerging from the high-pressure nozzle may cause the manual
spray gun to recoil.
• Ensure you have a firm footing at all times. Hold the manual spray gun and the
lance as tightly as possible.
• The Pressure Washer can be used to clean machines, vehicles, buildings, tools,
facades, terraces, garden tools etc. using the high-pressure water jet.
Detergents can be used by attaching the detergent container. Spray the
detergent sparingly on to the dry surface, and agitate or allow it to act for a short
time without letting the detergent dry.
Rinse off the loosened dirt with the high-pressure jet.
• The cleaning of motors, engines and other oily surfaces should only be done in
conjunction with an appropriate detergent.
• Please use detergents sparingly noting the quantities recommended by the
producer.
• Motor vehicle tyres and tyre valves may be damaged by the high-pressure jet.
Only the fan jet should be used when cleaning vehicles and a distance of at
least 50cm should be maintained during the cleaning process.
• For painted or insulated surfaces, begin at a considerable distance away and
move slowly closer (depending on the degree of soiling) to the object to be
cleaned. Stop and check the surface at short intervals in order to prevent
damage.
• Do not underestimate the power of the pressure produced by the high-pressure
cleaner. Always use the fan jet to clean sensitive surfaces.
• If necessary, clean the supply water with a water filter. Any impurities in the
water could damage the pump.
• Wear appropriate protective clothing as protection against spray.
• The high pressure washer is equipped with an internal pressure switch. It
functions only when you press on the trigger. When you release the trigger, the
washer stops automatically.
Working with the Spray Gun
To prevent unintentional use, ensure the trigger lock clip on the back of the
trigger is deployed.
Switching ON: Release the lock (10), and pull the trigger of the gun.
S
witching OFF: Release the trigger. During work breaks and storage secure the
hand spray gun (8) with the lock (10).
Adjustment of the Spray Jet
Vary the spray from a narrow jet to a fan jet by turning the lance nozzle (5).
Replacing accessories
• Turn the Pressure Washer off and unplug from the mains.
• Allow the pressure to escape by operating the trigger on the spray gun (8).
• Attach the desired accessory and then continue operating.
• Note: When the detergent container accessory is being used it is not possible
to obtain a high-pressure effect.
Finishing Operation
Turn the Pressure Washer off and unplug from the mains.
Turn off the water supply.
• Allow any residual pressure to escape by operating the trigger on the spray
gun (8).
• Secure the spray gun (8) with the trigger lock (10).
• Disconnect the Pressure Washer from the water supply by unscrewing the hose
on the water connection (3) of the device.
WARNING
• Only use extension leads that are protected against water spray, with high
mechanical strength and are rated for outdoor use.
• Before inserting the mains lead into the socket, check whether the voltage you
intend to use complies with that of the machine.
• For outdoor, domestic use only.
• Only use for the intended use as described in this manual.
• Keep away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture and rain, frost and sharp edges.
• Do not immerse into water.
• Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance gets wet, unplug it
immediately ensuring you do not touch the mains plug with wet hands.
• Always unplug the Pressure Washer by gripping the plug. Do not pull on the
cable.
• Always remove the attached accessories when not in use.
• Do not leave the Pressure Washer unattended. If you should leave the work
area, always switch the machine off and remove the plug from the mains.
• During work breaks the manual spray gun should be secured by use of the
trigger lock.
