Please read before installing.
1. These products must be installed in accordance with
the latest Building and IEE wiring regulations. If in any
doubt, please contact a qualified electrician.
2. This dimmer is only suitable for incandescent,
halogen, dimmable LED and dimmable LED-filament
bulbs, but is not suitable for non dimmable LED or any
CFL bulbs.
3. Dimmer comes set at Leading Edge as factory default,
Please check with an electrician that your circuit is
Leading Edge if not follow the instructions to change
the mode of the dimmer.
We recommend you to use a UK back box to install your
product. Please note that t h e minimum recommended depth
fo r th e m ounting bo x is 47 mm. Back boxes are available t o
purchase fro m us, please see recommended sizes below:

1. Befo re commencing work, isolate the mains p ower
supply and re move the fuse in the fuse box or switch o
the circui t b reaker in the consumer unit.

pro d uct, remove existing unit from its location and
disconnect the wiring.

3. Connect the wire s as shown in a ppropri a te w i r ing
diagrams. Use gre en/yellow sleeving on earth conductors
not insulated. Ensure terminals are p roperly tightened and
no bare wi re is visible. Push back unit into moulding box
making sure c o n d u c tors a re not trapped.
If installing standard incandescent bulbs, chec k the total load o f
the module is between 60W and 400W m ax.
If installing LED bulbs, check the total load of t he module i s
between 5W and 120W m ax .

Align Flat C to the corresponding fl a t o n the i nside of t h e
Dimmer Knob B. Push the dimmer knob in place by hand.
* Please ensure screws are suciently tight to s upport the pr o duct b ut
please do not over tighten as this may cause some defo r mation to the pla t e
or damage the screw.
** Do NOT use a standard sc r e w driver t o tighten the coin caps. This may
damage the cap and is not cov e red under warrant y. Plastic c o in cap t ool
must be used by hand only.
Use a cro ss head electric or manual screwdriver to
fit the special countersunk scre ws until tight*.
By hand, screw t h e c o in caps into the e n d o f t h e
screws. Use the plastic c o in cap tool to fully tighten the
co in c a ps**.
Your product is supplied in 2 boxes, one box
containing the switch plate and a further box co ntaining
the details kit. Open the details kit box and install the
plat e as f o llows .

With the Lamp in an OFF state, at
max. positon, push ON and wait 5
seconds until lamp stablises.

Turn to min. position. Push OFF
and push ON at min. brightness
level.
3
Turn to max. position. Push OFF
and push ON again. The lamp
will appear to flash once at half-
brightness level. You have now
entered Minimum Dim Set Mode.

Set your desired min. brightness
level. Push OFF and ON once.
The lamp will appear at half-
brightness level then return to
normal brightness level. It has
now configured and saved your
settings.
Each step must be performed within 10 seconds, if not,it will time out and auto
exit the programme without saving. If you wish to terminate the setting mode,
push OFF whilst the lamp is flashing.

Set the lamp to min. position
whilst in OFF state. Wait for around
5 seconds to push ON, until the
lamp appears stable.
2Turn to max. position.
Push OFF and push ON.

Turn to min. position, push OFF
and push ON again. Lamp will
appear to flash 4 times at half-
bright level. You can now either
follow step 4 to enter TE mode
or step 5 to enter LE mode.

Each step must be performed within 10 seconds, if not,
it will time out and auto exit program without saving.
