Installation is best done with two people
and on most RVs requires working from the
roof of the RV. Never install on a windy day
or when the RV roof is slippery. Please take
care when you are on a ladder or the roof.

Tools Needed:
• Scissors
• Matchesorlighter(optional)
• Screwdriver(usuallyPhillipshead)for
roof antennas
Installation
1. Cover or tape any sharp edges on your RV
thatcouldwearagainstyourRVcover.Be
sure to lower any roof antennas.
2.OnsmallerRVsyourcovercanbe
installed with ladders but on most RVs it’s
easiesttoinstallyourcoverfromtheroof.
Carefullyclimbupontheroofandhavea
friendhandyouthecoverinitsstoragebag.
AtthefrontofyourRVcarefullyremoveyour
coverfromitsstoragebag.WiththeClassic
logotothefrontofyourRV(Thecover
shouldbepackedsothatthefrontisatthe
outsideoftheroll)unrollthecoverdown
the length of the roof. Drop the front of your
coveroverthefrontofyourRVthencarefully
andslowlymovetowardthebackoryour
RVspreadingoutyourcoverandlettingthe
sides fall down the sides of your RV.
Climbdowntherearladderandlocatethe
laddercap.(Thecaphelpskeepthetopof
theladderfromstressingthecover).Fitit
overtheladdertopandattachittotherungs
with the hook and loop straps. Now pull the
backendofthecoverdownthebackofyour
RV.
3.Zipallthepanelsclosedonyourcover
thenpulltheelasticizedcornersdownover
both bumpers of your RV.
4. Tieanendofthe
supplied rope onto
one of the D-rings
along the bottom
hem.Putasmall
rockintheprovided
tossbag,closethe
top and tie the free
end of the rope to
thebagD-ring.Toss
the bag and rope
under your RV to
the D-ring on the
oppositeside.Take
the rope off the bag
and,allowingenoughtomakeaknot,cutit
off and tie it to the D-ring. Repeat with the
remaining D-rings.
Tokeeptheropeendsfromfrayingyou
cancarefullymelttheendswithamatchor
lighter.
5. Adjust the strap length on the white
tensionpanelsacrossthefrontandbackto
fit your RV. Don’t over tighten—the straps
shouldbesnug,notdrumtight.Toattach
thestrapsintotheside-releasebucklesjust
inserttheclipintothebuckle.Toreleasethe
bucklepressthebuttonsonbothsidesand
pulltheclipoutofthebuckle.
Use and Storage
Thesidesofyourcovercanbeunzipped
foraccesstothedoors,engineorstorage
areas.Thepanelscanberolledupand
heldinplacewiththehookandloopstraps
towardthetopofeachpanel.
Ahandystoragebagisprovided.Tofitit
inthebagfoldyourcoverandrollthecover
tightly rather than stuffing it. Never store
awetcoverinthestoragebagorconfined
areaasthecovercanbedamagedby
mildew.
Care
Spotcleanwithwater,amildsoapanda
sponge.Don’tuseabrasivecleanersor
brushes.
