Desa Tech AM85 is a portable kerosene heater, producing 85,000 BTU per hour. It has a 9.0-gallon fuel tank and runs on kerosene or No. 1 fuel oil. Its air output is approximately 200 cubic feet per minute. It comes with an intake air filter and an output air filter, which should be cleaned as per the manual's instructions. The AM85 has a spark ignition system and uses an electric arc to ignite the fuel-air mixture. It is not recommended for use in sleeping quarters.
