Radio off
1. Connect themains adaptor to apower point and theradio.
2. Thedisplay will light and you will be greeted with awelcome message.
3. “00:00” will begin flashing.
4. Press [ ALARM ]. “Time is not set” will show initially, followed by “Set Time” with
thehours setting flashing.
5. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] to set thehours.
6. Press [ SELECT ] again - theminutes will begin to flash.
7. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] to set theminutes.
8. Press [ SELECT ] to continue setting theday, month and year in thesame way.
9. Press [ SELECT ]. Thealarm on/off setting will appear.
10. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] therequired number of times to activate/deactivate any of
therespective alarms.
11. Press [ SELECT ] to confirm.
Radio on
1. Turn theradio on by pressing the [ STANDBY ] button.
2. Hold in [ MENU/INFO ] until asub-menu appears on thedisplay.
3. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] until “System” appears on thedisplay.
4. Press [ SELECT ] to open themenu.
5. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] until “Time” appears on thedisplay.
6. Press [ SELECT ] to select.
7. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] until “Set Time/Date” appears on thedisplay.
8. Press [ SELECT ] to select. “Set time” appears on thedisplay and thehoursflash.
9. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] to set thehours.
10. Press [ SELECT ] again - theminutes willflash.
11. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] to set theminutes.
12. Press [ SELECT ] to continue and set theday, month and year in thesameway.
13. Press [ SELECT ] when you have finished – “Time Saved” will appear on thedisplay.
Thesettings have now beenmade.
Listening to DAB radio
1. Turn theradio on by pressing the [ STANDBY ] button.
2. Press [ MODE ] until “DAB” appears.
3. The “Scanning” message will appear, which indicates that station scanning has
begun.
4. When thescanning process has been completed, theradio will play thefirst station
it found during scanning.
5. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] to browse theother stations and press [ SELECT ] to listen to
thechosen station.
Note: If no stations are found, the “No DAB station” message will appear, followed by
these menu selections, “Full scan”, “Manual tune”, “Prune” or “System” (see below).
