WARNING - to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property, when
using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions must always be followed as
below:
Before you connect the fireplace heater to the main supply. Make sure that the voltage
indicated on the rating plate. Located on the back of the fireplace heater matches the mains
voltage in your home. If it does not, contact your dealer and do not use it. Always operate the
product from a power source of 220-240V ~ 50 Hz.
Important! The fireplace must be earthed.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Warning : In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
The heater must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the
heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming
pool.

Always install the heater in accordance with the instructions. If in doubt obtain expert
advice.
Always make sure the electrical socket is accessible and located adjacent to, but not above
the heater.
Always disconnect the heater from the electrical supply before carrying out cleaning,
maintenance or replacing the bulb. Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.
Always use a fireguard when children and infirm persons can come into contact with the
heater.
Never
Never leave children unsupervised in a room where the heater is ON and unguarded.
Never obstruct or cover the fan outlet or force items into the heater openings, this could
cause overheating and consequent risk of fire.
Never be exposed to dripping or splashing.
Never install or use the heater in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub,
washbowls, swimming pool etc. where the likelihood of immersion or splashing could occur.
Never use aerosols or steam cleaners on or around the heater.
