Getting Started
It may take up to several minutes for the GPS receiver to lock on 3 satellites as you first initialize
the positioning. The location information will be kept in memory and will be available the next
time you launch the process, which will save the acquisition time down to no longer than 1
minute.
Please avoid using GPS applications in the following environments as GPS signals are weak:
1. Surrounded by tall high-density buildings
2. Indoor
3. In the basement
4. Under the viaduct
5. In the tunnel
6. In the vehicle equipped with metal-coated windshields
7. Under tree canopy
The initializing and functioning of GPS receiver will cause higher power consumption of this
device. Please keep watch for the battery status once you have turned on the GPS applications.
While GPS application is in use, an GPS status icon will appear on top of Today screen;
meanwhile, the LED on front top of screen will blink in White.
