Before the keyboard can be used to control the DVR/speed-domes a connection between the keyboard
and DVR has to be made first. On the keyboard, if the display says “Device ID”, press “1” on the
keyboard’s keypad followed by the button.
Selecting Cameras
It is very easy to select a specific camera to display in full screen mode. This can be done either by
keyboard, mouse or the front panel of the DVR.
PLEASE NOTE: CHANGING THE CAMERA LAYOUT USING THE METHODS MENTIONED ABOVE WILL CHANGE THE
CAMERA LAYOUT ON THE DVR AND WILL AFFECT THE OUTPUT OF THE ATTACHED DISPLAYS.
i.e. If there is more than one monitor connected to the PRIMARY display ports on the DVR then all the
monitors will display the same picture
Using the mouse:
1. Simply move the mouse over the picture you want to see in full screen and left-click on it once.
2. To return to previous camera layout, left-click anywhere on the picture once.
Using the front panel:
1. If you want to see “camera 5” in full screen then simply press the button “5” on the front panel.
You can basically just press the number of the camera you want see in full screen.
2. To cycle through the camera layouts, press the “Display” button until you see the layout
that displays the number of cameras you want to see at the same time.

Using the Keyboard:
1. Simply enter the corresponding camera number on the keyboard’s keypad and press the “CAM”
button. The DVR will then display that camera in full screen. Repeat the process for changing to
other cameras.
2. To change the camera layouts, press the layout button until you see the layout that
displays the number of cameras you want to see at the same time.

Camera layouts:
• There are six cameras layouts – “Full screen” (1 camera), “Quad” (2x2 or 4 cameras), “6 view”
(3x2 or 6 cameras), “9 view” (3x3 or 9 cameras), “12 view” (4x3 or 12 cameras) and “16 view”
(4x4 or 16 cameras).
