Protective Film

Use the EVA foam to cover the back of GPU's circuit components which are densely embedded.

Mylar film at the bottom

Remove the mounting plate from the cooler and fix it on top of your VGA card to the position of the mounting holes. Now you should be able to see the

exact position of the mounting plate occupied area to avoid the interference of the RAM heatsinks and mounting plate.

# After opening the thermal adhesive, use it shortly thereafter. You may purchase additional heatsinks and thermal adhesives at ax7970.arctic.ac

Installation example on AMD HD 7970

Install the main cooler to the VGA card by fastening each of the

screws alternately (A B C D) with 2 to 3 clockwise rotations.

Repeat until all screws are tightened. Do not fasten any screw

completely in one step.

Remove the mounting plate from the VGA card and screw it

back to the cooler.

Thermal Compound

If the cooler has to be installed a second time, we highly recommend using the MX-4 thermal compound from ARCTIC. Only this compound guarantees optimal performance in combination with the surface of our

heatsinks.

Tips for applying thermal adhesive

Since the thermal adhesive can be applied once only, fit the cooler to the card with the heatsinks accurately positioned before you apply the

thermal adhesive.

Squeeze out all the glue with pliers.
