Part Two Installation Instruction
1. Installation Environment
Before installation, please check if the environmental temperature, humidity,
cleanliness, anti-jamming, anti-lightning etc. meet the requirements, check if the
power supply is safe.
1.1 Anti-static
Keep suitable temperature and humidity conditions
1.2 Anti-jamming
Keep the night vision camera far away from the radio transmitters, radar
transmitters and other high-frequency devices
Adopts electromagnetic shield when necessary
1.3 Water-proof
External lines must be connected to the aviation plug firmly to maintain it
water proof, or the camera will be damaged.
1.4 Bearing
The night vision PTZ camera needs to be mounted on top of the pole -
weight is more than 60kg. A bracket may cause vibration and may not
provide stable image.

Note:
Please use bolts, nuts and shock absorber that supplied. If have to change
bolts, please choose the one with right length.
Please use the power supply that supplied. Or else it would cause no
operation of the camera.
Avoid shaking and extrusion during fixing for protecting key components and
optics inside. Signal transmission line should be kept 50 m away from high
voltage devices and cables.
4. System Connection Reference
Thermal camera should be connected with other equipment to form a system.
The following is the simple sketch:
12
Part Three Operation Introduction
1. Function Introduction
1.1 Thermal image system
a. It adopts passive thermal imaging technology, with clear image, not
restricted by light source.
b. You can use “CLOSE” to control pseudo colors. Thermal camera will be
change among HOT WHITE, HOT BLACK, PSEUDO COLORs. There
are ten modes: FUSION RAINBOW GLOBOW IRONBOW1
IRONBOW2SEPIACOLOR1COLOR2ICE AND FIRERAIN
use “OPEN” to control digital zoom, the image will switch among
normal/2x/4x digital zoom; use “NEAR” “FAR” to control focus.
1.2 Low illumination color to black CCTV camera
a. Automatic switch between color and black/white: when light outside is
higher than setting, the camera is in a state of “color”;
b. When open No.1 assistant switch, can use “TELE”/ WIDE” to control
CCD cam’s zoom. The default is open.
c. Focal length automatic adjusts: camera uses image identity technology
to achieve automatic focus.
d. Low illumination set: Usually camera is in a state of automatic working;
when environment brightness is lower than 1Lux, it will automatically
change to zero level.
1.3 Integrated full range pan-tilt
a. Pan rotate 360º, tilt rotate -45°45°
b. Pan rotate can realize 022°/s continuous shift adjust, tilt rotate can
realize 030°/s continuous shift adjust5
c. Low speed steady rotate, little noise, clear and steady image
d. Reach full range no spot monitoring, exact orientation be ±0.
13
1.4 High Intelligence
a. User may save 220 preset points.
b. Total 6 cruise paths: No. 1 ~ No.6 cruise paths corresponding to
250~255 presetting bits respectively, call 250~255 presetting bits can set
up the cruise paths. The cruise points of No. 1 cruise path is from
Presetting Bit 1~20; the cruise points of No. 2 cruise path is from
Presetting bit 21~40; the cruise points of No. 3 cruise path is from
Presetting Bit 41~60; the cruise points of No. 4 cruise path is from
Presetting Bit 61~80; the cruise points of No. 5 cruise path is from
Presetting Bit 81~100; the cruise points of No. 6 cruise path is from
Presetting Bit 101~120. The residence time in each cruise point is 5s.
c. Line scan function: call No. 227 presetting bit to set up the start point of
line scan function; call No. 228 presetting bit to set up the end point of
line scan function; call No. 229 presetting bit to run line scan function.
d. Character adding function: after self-checking, Address & Protocol &
Baud Rate will be shown on the screen; Presetting No. will be shown on
the screen when set or call the presetting bits.
e. Short/Long focal length shift function. The night vision camera can adjust
its pan/tilt shifting speed automatically according to the focal length. The
larger magnification the slower shifting speed in order to make sure
accurate search and lock the target; the smaller magnification the faster
shifting speed, to make sure find the target.
2. Cam Protocol and Address Setting - Use protocol Pelco D and 2400
baud as best choice
2.1 The cam is using RS-485 control, rich communication protocols, baud rate
from 2400bps to 19200bos. Please make sure of that the keyboard or control
host are using the same protocol with the cam.
2.2 Address setting: you need to remove the bottom plate of the cam when
setting up the address, adjust the former 8 bits of dip switch J16 to set,
