B. AboutPlayerBattery
Player has an internal, non–userreplaceable battery. For best results,
thefirsttimeyouuseplayer,letitchargefor about2~3hoursoruntilthe
batterystatusiconinthe“Connect”screenshowsthatthebatteryisin full.

Note:
Player may continue usebatterypowerafter it’s beenturnedoff.For
maintainthebatterylifeandperformance,ifunitisn’tusedforawhile,the
battery need to be recharged, recharging the battery at least once per
month.

PC Connection Battery Charging
you will see the “PC Connection” or “Battery Charging screen appear
forview;

For PC connection screen: the player is connecting with computer for
data’stransferandthebatteryischarginginbackground.
For Battery Charging screen: the energy levelisrunning inbatteryicon,
the battery
is in charging. The energy level will show full when the
batteryisfullycharged.
InCharging
Important:Thebatterydoesnotchargewhenyourcomputerisinsleep.The
USB port on most keyboards does not provide enough power to charge the
player. Connect player to a USB 2.0 port on your computer only to prevent
chargeproblem.
C. ConnectingandDisconnectingPlayer
1. ToConnectingPlayer:
Toconnectplayertoyourcomputer,plugtheconnectorofUSBCableinto
aUSBportonyourcomputer,andconnecttheotherendtoplayer,then
the computer will detect and install the driver automatically. Once the
installationiscompletetheplayerwillbedisplayedinMyComputer
orforMACusersonthedesktop.
The player is ready for media fi les transfer with your computer and the
batteryischargingwhen“PCConnection”screenisshowing.
Nowyoucantransfer the media files by using the computermouse use
drag and place, or copy and paste, in between the player and your
computer.
2. ToDisconnectingPlayer:
Its important not to disconnect player whi l e its syncing or transferring
files.Ejecttheplayerbeforedisconnectit.
To eject player, press the M button, the “PC Connect screen will eject
andswitchtoBatteryChargingscreen.
Press the M button once again to switch to “Main Menu” screen for
functionoperationmode.
Andnowissafetodisconnecttheplayerwithyourcomputer.Unplugthe
USBcablefromtheplayer.

Or, if you’ re using a Windows PC, you can also eject player in My
Computer or by clicking the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon in the
Windows system tray, select the correspondence name of USB Device
andchoose“Stop”>choose“Confirm”>choose“Confirm”followbythe
popupwindowsyou’reyourcomputer.
Or,ifyou’ reusingaMac,youcanalsoejectplayerbydraggingtheplayer
icononthedesktoptotheTrash.
DisconnecttheUSBcablefromtheplayerandcomputer,simplyremove
it.
If you accidentally disconnect player without ejecting it, reconnect it to
yourcomputerandsyncagain.However,somemediafilemayloss.

time you increase the volume level and reach to the default setting level
which may exceed 85dB.Tap therelevantshowing icon on screento accept

anduntiltomaximum.
5. LyricDisplay
This player supports “*.LRC lyric files and lyrics can synchronous
displayed whileplayingmusicifyoumusicfilehaslyricfileincludedtogether.
Makesurethemusicfi lenameand“*.LRCfilenamemustbesameand
uploadintoplayertogether.
When the playing music included with lyrics file, then the lyrics display
mode wi ll switched on automatically and the lyrics will display at the
musicnowplayinginterfaceasfollowshow:

6. ToCallOutMusicFileList
InMusicNowPlayinginterface,slidetoleftonscreen,a“MusicFilelist
appeartouse;
Then slide to up or down on screen to page up/down the list for select
thedesiredmusicwhichyouwanttoplay.

H. UseVideoMenu
From main menu, choose the “V ideo by slideto left / right on screen,
thentapthe“Videomenuicon,a“VideoFilelistinterfaceappearsto
use;
Invideofilelistinterface,slidetoupordownonscreentopageup/down
thelistforfolderandfileselection.(Makesureyouknowwhichfolder(s)
arecont ainssupported“AVIvideofile.Ifnot,novideofilewillshowout
whenyouenteredtheselectedfolder)
Slidetorightonscreentogobacktopreviouslist,orslidetoup/down
onscreentomoveupordownthelistwhennecessary.
Oncefilesarelocated,tapthedesiredfiletostarttheplay,a“VideoNow
Playinginterfaceappearandthevideoisinplaying.

The Player supports video fi le in “AVI format (max. 128x128, 15fps). If
yourvideofileisdifferentoryoufoundformaterror,convertittothecorrect

Important: For Video Conversion, please make sure you have installed
Microsoft DirectX 9.0 or above. When to convert Real Media, QuickTime,
MPEG format video files, please install related DirectShow filter at first.
Otherwise,AVIConvertercannotworknormally.
For Media Manager in Windows XP and Windows 2003, please make sure
youhaveinstalledMicrosoftMediaPlayer10.0orabove,andMicrosoft.NET
framework3.0.
2. Programinstallationanduse
The AVI VideoConvertTool is storedon the device’s memory, or onthe
providedCD,inafoldernamed“UTILITIES>VideoConversionSoftwar e”.
Download it onto your computer for copy, and then install this tool on
computerdirectly.
Open the “Video Conversion Software” folder, select and double click
the“Setup.exe” (Example:Nano 1.1.xSetup.exe (orhigher)) torunthe
setup program. And then follow the instructions appears on screen to
installtheprogramintoyourcomputer.
After installation is complet e d, select and double click the “AVI
Converter icon, the following program window will appear on the
computerscreen:

ClickAdd”button,andthefollowingadditionaldialogboxwillappear:
MakesureresolutionofAVIisselectedto“128x128”,ifnot,clickonthe
buttonatrightandchangeitto128x128”.
TheQualityofAVIin Settingisdefaultedat“High”.Youcanchangeit,by
clickonthebuttonatright,to“High/Normal/Lowifyouwant.
TheAspectRatioofAVIinSettingisdefaultedat“Full”.Youcanchangeit,
byclickonthebuttonatright,to“Full/4:3/16:9”ifyouwant.
ChoosethelocationorfolderwheretosavetheconvertedAVIfiles,click
the“TargetFilePath”button(thebuttonrightnextattheitem).Adialog
box will appear, choose your desired location or folder and then click
“OKtocompletethechanges.
Choose the folder and fi le where the original video fi le are, click the
“SourceFilebutton(thebuttonrightnextattheitem).Adialogboxwill
appear, choose your desired folder and file, and then double click the
selectedfile,orclickOpen”tocompletetheselect.
Click “Save” and then “Close” button to confirm, the additional dialog
boxwill closedandthenyouwillseetheselectedsourcefileisappeared
intheprogramwindow.
Click“ConvertNowbuttontostartthevideoconversion.Theconver sion
isinprogressandyouwillseethestatusofpercentageisshowingonthe
programwindow.
Click “Del” button to delete the selected source file from the program
window.
Click “Close” button to exit the program after you have finished the
conversion.
And now the converted AVI file(s) is ready to transfer, you can simply
copyandplacethoseconv ertedAVIfilestothePlayer.

Forrunning this program in Window8 PC, pleasechangethe properties

of Run Compatibility settings by the following method after installed this
VideoConversionSoftwarebeforeuseit.
Movethemouseallowonthisprogramiconwhichindesktop,thenright
clickmousebutton,a“dialogwindowpopupforuse;
In Compatibility mode window, click the box of “Run this program in
compatibilityforandchose“Window7”;
In Settings window, click the box of “Run this program as an
administrator;
ThenselectApplyandOKtoconfirmandexitfromdialogwindow.
J. UsePedometerMenu
Beforeyoustarttousethepedometerinterface,makesureyouhaveset
the “Step Profile” at Setup menu’s item “F.8. which mentioned above in
Setupmenu.
1. SetupyourStepprofile:
Open the “Setup” menu > tap “Step Profile” > “Weight / Step Size /
Heightandinputthefollowing:
a. Weight:
Accordingtoyourknownpersonalweight,tapthesuitablerange
(example:70~80Kg)and storeintosetupmenubytaponititem.
b. StepSize(Stridelength):
Accordingtoyourknownpersonalstepsize,tapthesuitablerange
(choose80~89cmexamplereferto“StrideLeng thMeasurementas
illustratedbelow)andstoreintosetupmenubytaponititem.

ExampleforStepSizemeasurement
Walk/Run10stepswithyournormalstrideasillustratedbelow;
MeasurethedistancefromSTARTtoENDincentimeter(cm).Then
calculateyourstridelengthbydividingthetotaldistanceby10.Example:
Totaldistance=800cm;
800cm÷10steps=80cm(averageperstride).
c. Height:
Accordingtoyourknownpersonalheight,tapthesuitablerange
(example:180~189cm)andstoreintosetupmenubytaponititem.
2. SetupyourStepmode:
Open the “Pedometer menu, a “Pedometer interface appear > then
slidetoleftonscreentocallupthesubmenu,theitem’s“H istory/Walk
/Runningappeartochoose;
Then, tap the “Walk” or “Running mode which you going for the
pedometer count as you desired and the screen will switch back to
pedometerinterface.Now,thepedometerfunctionisreadytostart.
To check the current step mode, slide to left on screen to call up the
submenuagain,thecurrentstepmodeismarkedwiththeicon.
3. StartPedometerCountsFunction
In Pedometer interface, tap the icon to enter and start pedometer

counts function when settings are complete d, the pedometer counts
display isappearingandtimeisstartrunning,from“00:00:00”.
Atsametimepedometersensorisstartingtocountsyourmove.Nowyou
canstartthewalkorrunningasyouchosen.
Those wanted information; such as: Steps, distance, calorie burned and
Speed (average speed per Hour), are showing on pedometer counts
display screenforview.
4. StopPedometerCountsFunction&SaveRecord
In Pedometer interface, tap the icon to stop and reset the
pedometer countsfunction.Allthevalues on items arereset to“0” and
the“Stop”iconisswitched backto“Startfornextcountif youwant.
At the sametime, the pedometer counts recordis saved with file name
YY.MM.DD_HH.MM” (the date & time to stop pedometer counts) in
historymenuforyoulookuplater.And,maximum20recordsareallowed
to storing in memory. Moreover, the new records will overwrite the old
Recordsautomaticallyifitover20.
5. ViewHistoryRecordsandDeleteRecord
a. ToViewHistoryRecord:
InPedometerinterface,slidetolefton screentocallupsubmenu>then
tap “History to look up your pedometer counts record(s), a history list
appeartochoose;
Thefilerecordnumberfrom“01~20”withnameYY.MM.DD_HH.MM”
wi llshowinlist.Tomoverecord’sitemupordown,slideto“Up/Down”
onscreen.
Tap the wanted record name to enter the history display to view the
pedometercountsrecord.(01isnewlyrecord)
Slide to right on screen to back previous menu, and tap the item on
screentoentertheitemsormenusasdesired.
b. TodeletetheunwantedHistoryrecord:
In history listinterface,tapandhold onitemwhich you want todelete,
thenawarningdialogboxwith“Del”appeartoconfirm;
Tap“Yestoconfirm.Or,tap“No”toabort.

Ifyouwanttheplayeraswatch’spedometer,

Tocorrectlycalculatingthenumberofsteps,the
playermustbewornonthehandbyusethe
watchband(provided),putPlayersbackclingto
yourskin,andletyourarmswingfreely.
Thebuiltinsensorswilldetectthemovementof
yourarmtodetermineifyouarerunningor
walking.Therefore,oftentowatchthe
pedometerrecordorclocktimemayaffectthe
pedometercountsdetectswhileyouarein
walkingorrunning,pleasekeepyourarm

In picture file list interface, slide to up or down on screen to page
up/downthelistforfolderandfileselection.(Makesureyouknowwhich
folder(s) are contains supported picture files. If not, no picture file will
showoutwhenyouenteredtheselectedfolder)

L. UseExplorerMenu
The Explorer function allows you to select and direct play those media
filesinPlay ersrootdirectoryandin yourcreatedfolder(s).Todothis:
Frommainmenu,choosethe“Explorerbyslidetoleft/rightonscreen,
thentapthe“Explorermenuicon,a“FoldersandorFiles”listinterface
appearstouse;
Showicon=musicfile,icon=videofile,icon=picturefi le.
In listinterface,slide toup or downon screen topageup/downthelist
for folder and file selection. Then tap the desired folder name to enter
andviewthefile(s).
In file’s list screen, slide to right on screen to exit to previous list for

selection,ortapthedesiredfiletostarttheplay.
Onedesiredfileischosen,thefilewillplayautomaticallybytherelevant
interfaceprogram.
InNow Playinginterface, press or pressingthefunction’s keyandor tap
therelevanticons,orslidetoUp/Down/Left/Rightonscreenforthe
wanted function. (refer to item D above mentioned functions for
reference)
M. UseBluetoothMenu
Inmusicplayingmode(playingamusic),thengotoBlueto othmenu,tap
ittoenterintoBluetoothinterface.
1. TurnONandOFFtheBluetoothFunction:
Tap the “OFF” icon on screen, the Bluetooth is turning into “ON” and a
message“Pleasewait…!”popuponscreen.Forfewseconds,a“Paired”
interfaceshow“ONwillappeartouse;
Toturn“OFFtheBluetoothFunction,tapthe“ONicon.
2. SearchandPairwithBluetoothreceiverdevice:
Before pairing, please make sure your Bluetooth Receiver Device
supportsBluetoothA2DPprofile.
Keepthedevicein1meterofyourBluetoothreceiverdevice.
Switch on your Bluetooth receiver device and enable it to searching /
pairingmode.
Then, in Paired interface, tap “Scan” icon or slide to left on screen, to
start the scanning function, for approximately 10 ~ 30 seconds; an
“Available list with found device’s name will appear to choose for
pairing.
Tapthewanted“DeviceName”inlistonscreenforpairing,pageupthe
devicenamelistforlookingyourdesirednameofdevicewhennecessary,
wait for few seconds both device should be paired, the current playing
musicwillplayautomaticallyfromyourBluetoothreceiverdevice,anda
Bluetoothicon “isdisplayingattherightsideofchosendeviceitem
inlist.Bothdevicesarepair e d.
3. Changeplayingmusicfile:
In Bluetooth transmitting mode, exit and go into Music Now Playing
interfaceforchangetheplayingfileifnecessary.
InMusicNowPlayinginterface,tap / iconforchangingplayfile.
Tap /  iconforpauseorplaythemusic.
4. DisconnectwithConnectedBluetoothdevice:
InPairedinterface,taptheitemofconnecteddevicenameinlist,adialog
box“Disconnect?appeartoconfirm.Tap“Yesicontoconfirm,or“No”
toabort.
5. UnpairwithConnectedBluetoothdevice:
InPairedinterface,tapandholdtheitemofconnecteddevicenameinlist,
