Introducing the Zmodo Greet
How to use the main features
Answering Calls
When somebody presses your doorbell, a push notification will
be sent to your smartphone (Note: please make sure that you
are logged into MeShare on your device). Press the
notification, and a call screen will appear. From there, you can
answer the call.
Home Screen
When you first open your MeShare app, you’ll be led to your device list. If
you have multiple devices, you can scroll until you find the Doorbell. From
here, you can view your alerts (the Doorbell automatically saves a 30
second clip when motion is detected), you can quickly share your device,
and you can view your device’s live view by pressing on the thumbnail
image.
Live View
There are two main functions on the live view screen:
1) Manually toggle the infrared night vision. The camera will automatically
adjust when it is dark outside, however you have to option of choosing to
disable or enable the night-vision for a clearer image.
2) Take a snapshot. You can take a snapshot at anytime. This image will
save to your cloud storage, and can be found in Events -> Gallery in your
app.
Push-to-talk
You can see, hear and speak to your visitors through
your phone by holding down the push-to-talk button on
your live screen.
Voice Message
You can enable and record a voice message that will play automatically if the
doorbell isn’t answered within 30 seconds of ringing. Call this your personalized
“away” message, for when you can’t answer the door, or just don’t want to.
This can be found under the settings menu.
Quiet Hours
You can schedule quiet hours so that your doorbell is silent during those periods,
just in case you’re trying to catch some shuteye or don’t want to be disturbed.
Device Sharing
Share any device with friends, family, etc. and let them view and control your
doorbell. Other users must have a free MeShare account.
Alerts
Receive alerts on your
smartphone for missed calls,
motion detection, etc. and review
past alerts at any time. Click on
each alert to view playback
footage of an automatically
recorded clip.
