unit. The switch remembers the last alarm-calling audio unit and when
alarmisgeneratedfromanotheraudiounitwithin30s,thecallissetup
fromtheaudiounitthatwasthelasttomakethealarmcall.
Mounting
Remove the connectors on the ALARM inversion and programming jumpers on 2N

.Usethe4screwstoloosenandmovedownwardstheaudio Lift1/ 2N SingleTalk

unit.Disconnectthespeakerand(external)microphone.
Connectthecableconnectorsincludedinthedeliverytothemicrophoneandspeaker
connectorson (themicrophoneandspeakerconnectors2N Lift1
®
/ 2N SingleTalk
®
have different sizes and cannot be interchanged due to the audio unit cover
pictograms).Replacetheaudiounitcover,moveitupwardsandtightenthe4screws.
Putthe6-pinconnectorontheALARMinversionandprogrammingjumpers(seethe

point-switch.Thespeakerandmicrophoneconnectorsaremarked(SPKandMIC).Put
theconnectorsonthejumpersintheswitch.Theconfigurationisthesameasin2N
®
(alsomarkedontheswitchboard).Pull thecablesthrough Lift1/ 2N SingleTalk
®
theholes.
Warning
Makesurethatthe6-pinconnectioniscorrecttoavoidproductdamage.
Makesurethattheyellowwireisup(whenviewingtheaudiounit).
Caution
In the case of a cable version of , an2N Lift1 / 2N SingleTalk

external microphone should be connected into the microphone input on
thecable-switch.Ifyoudonothaveacableversion,thisinputshouldbe
free.
Breakoutcableholesintheswitchuppercover.Thenreplacethecover.Thereare2
RJ12connectorsonthepoint-switchsideforaudiounitconnection.Interconnectthe
audiounitandtheswitchusingthecablesupplied.
