Built without an infrared illumination system, Securview™ 24/7 Colour cameras are designed to capture accurate

colour footage, even in scenes with challenging lighting. The 24/7 Colour range feature lenses with large apertures

and high performance image sensors to make the most of even the smallest amount of incoming ambient light.

24/7 Colour cameras utilise light from external sources such as

street lamps, making them ideal for parking lots, hotels, bars

and homes. This is to ensure details ranging from skin/hair

colour, clothing, vehicle models and more, aren’t lost when

switching to black and white IR. Such details are crucial for

usable, video evidence.

Minimum illumination, which indicates the least amount

of light needed for a camera to produce an image, can

be as low as 0.001 lux in 24/7 Colour cameras. By using

a combination of auto shutter speed adjustment, f/1.0

aperture lenses and large 1/2.8” image sensors, 24/7 Colour

cameras dramatically increase low-light sensitivity over

standard and Starlight cameras.
