Lock Button: Locks the vehicle
Unlock Button: Unlocks the vehicle
Liftgate: Opens the liftgate
Remote Starting:
Starts the engine from the key fob
PANIC: Activates the PANIC alarm -
if equipped

Unlocking: Grab the handle and
pull it in the indicated direction
Passive Entry System
The Passive Entry system allows you to
enter the passenger compartment and
start the engine without using a key.
The vehicle recognizes the electronic
key in the immediate proximity or inside
the vehicle.
Locking: Push the button on the handle
Liftgate
Just like the doors, you can also unlock
and open/close the liftgate without using
the key.
Open/close the liftgate by rapidly
pressing the
button on the electronic
key twice. Or from inside the vehicle, lift
the liftgate switch on the driver door
panel to open the liftgate and push and
hold the switch to close it.

Free” Mode - If Equipped
With the doors locked, the system
must recognize the electronic key
near the liftgate.
To open the liftgate, stand behind
the center of the vehicle, and move
your foot under the bumper, making a
kicking movement.
Customizing the Liftgate
Opening Height
To avoid difficulties in tight spaces,
you can set the height at which the
liftgate opens.
To customize the liftgate opening
position, follow the steps below:
Open the liftgate manually and move
it to the position at which you want the
liftgate to open.
Press and hold one of the closing
buttons for at least five seconds
(successful activation is indicated
by the turn signals flashing
three times).
The liftgate is now programmed to open
to the set position.

Closing the Liftgate
from the Inside
You can close the liftgate electronically
by pressing one of the two buttons on its
interior trim.
NOTE:
You can stop the liftgate movement by
operating any of the closing buttons.

Mirror Adjustment
Select the mirror (right/left) by rotating
the power mirror switch. Then, regulate the
position of the mirror using the same switch.

With the device in position “0”, move
it rearward.

Driver Memory Settings
It is possible to store and then recall three
different positions for the driver seat.
To store the position, keep one of the
indicated buttons pressed for a
few seconds.

Starting Procedure
Proceed as follows:
Set the gear selector to PARK (P) or
NEUTRAL (N);
Fully press the brake pedal without
touching the accelerator;
Briefly push the ignition button;
If the engine doesn't start within a
few seconds, repeat the procedure.
If the problem persists, contact an
authorized dealer.
Stopping the Engine
To stop the engine, proceed as follows:
Park the vehicle in a position that is not
dangerous for oncoming traffic;
Press the P button on the gear
selector to place the transmission
in to PARK (P);
With engine idling, push the
ignition button.

In order to manually release the park brake, the ignition should be at the ON position.
Also, press the brake pedal, then briefly lift the control.
