1. Remove the stock housing from the dash and remove the original gauges from the housing. Save

all hardware for reassembly.

2. First mount the tachometer in the

center round opening. Using

factory hardware, fasten the tach

in the original housing using the

two mounting tabs on the back of

the tach housing.

3. The next step is mounting the speedometer. With

the bracket already attached to the speedometer

housing, align the aluminum bracket to the stud at

the top of the original housing and fasten it in

place using stock hardware. Tighten the two

lower tabs with the stock hardware.

4. The Fuel/Temp and Volts/Oil clusters can now

be mounted to the ‘Vette housing using the

factory hardware. When looking from the back,

Volts/Oil will be on the left side and Fuel/Temp

will be on the right side.

5. Connect the CAT5 cable to the back of the speedometer as the assembled housing

is reinstalled into the dash. Take care when routing the CAT5 cable to the control

box.

5. Next, connect the ribbon cables. These are labeled and have male and female

connectors. Example: Oil female connector to Oil male connector

7. Refer to the main manual for wiring instructions to complete the VHX installation.
