Before starting to mount the hemisphere lens (503-0249-00) please make sure that the “Lens monitor” alternative in the service menu

is deactivated. This lens does not have a zoom/focus ring and no built-in electronics, so the lens monitor must be switched off. Two

adjustment options:

• Enter the Service Menu under Settings/Service and enter code 47838. Make sure “lens monitor” is not ticked off.

• Go via RS232 and enter the code: LMON

Both solutions requires access to a standard lens to be used during deactivation. Alternatively, use an external contol system.

The 1-19036 hemisphere lens consists of 4 parts: Lens cover (A), bayonet mount (B), lens itself (C) and the lock ring (D). You may want

to remove the lens cover ﬁrst to make the adjustment more precise. Detatch the bayonet mount from the main lens piece. The bayonet

mount is screwed on lens, rotate it counter clockwise to detatch.

Insert the bayonet mount by carfully entering the lens opening and then twisting right untill it fastens.

When bayonet mount is ﬁxed in projector the main lens can be inserted, secure slightly by turning it clockwise along its threads (two-three

rotations). Do not use unneccesary force twisting the lens into position if it does not enter correctly, as this may cause damage.

Use a focus test picture to ﬁne adjust the focus plane. Turn the lens clockwise untill the image is properly focused.

When image is in focus you can ﬁx the lens by fastening the lock ring (D).
