• Uponreceipt,inspecttheproducttoverifythat
ithasnotbeendamagedduringtransport.Ifthe
productappearsdamaged,DONOTINSTALLitand
immediatelyreportthedamagetothecarrieror
retailer(iftheinstallerortheauthorizedtechnician
hascollectedthematerialfromtheretailer.)
• Aftercompletingtheinstallation,alwayscarryouta
functionaltestandprovidetheinstructionsonhowto
operatetheairconditionertotheuser.
• Donotusetheairconditionerinenvironmentswith
hazardoussubstancesorclosetoequipmentthat
releasefreeflamestoavoidtheoccurrenceoffires,
explosionsorinjuries.
• Ourunitsshouldbeinstalledincompliancewiththe
spacesshownintheinstallationmanual,toensure
accessibilityfrombothsidesandallowrepairs
ormaintenanceoperationstobecarriedout.The
unit’scomponentsshouldbeaccessibleandeasyto
disassemblewithoutendangeringpeopleandobjects.
Forthisreason,whenprovisionsoftheinstallation
manualarenotcompliedwith,thecostrequiredto
accessandrepairtheunits(inSAFETYCONDITIONS,
assetoutinprevailingregulations)withharnesses,
ladders,scaffoldingoranyotherelevationsystem
willNOTbeconsideredpartofthewarrantyandwill
bechargedtotheendcustomer.
• Auxiliarydeviceswhichmaybeapotentialignition
sourceshallnotbeinstalledintheductwork.

• Alwaysmakesurethatthepowersupplyiscompliant
withcurrentsafetystandards.Alwaysinstalltheair
conditionerincompliancewithcurrentlocalsafety
standards.

Alwaysverifythatasuitablegroundingconnectionis
available.
•
Verifythatthevoltageandfrequencyofthepower
supplycomplywiththespecificationsandthatthe
installedpowerissufficienttoensuretheoperation
ofanyotherdomesticapplianceconnectedtothe
sameelectriclines.
• Alwaysverifythatthecut-offandprotectionswitches
aresuitablydimensioned.
• Verifythattheairconditionerisconnectedtothe
powersupplyinaccordancewiththeinstructions
providedinthewiringdiagramincludedinthe
manual.

Alwaysverifythatelectricconnections(cableentry,
sectionofleads,protections…)arecompliantwith
theelectricspecificationsandwiththeinstructions
providedinthewiringscheme.Alwaysverifythatall
connectionscomplywiththestandardsapplicableto
theinstallationofairconditioners.
• Devicesdisconnectedfromthepowersupplyshould
becompletelydisconnectedintheconditionof
overvoltagecategory.
• Besurenottoperformpowercablemodification,
extensionwiring,andmultiplewireconnection.
– Itmaycauseelectricshockorfireduetopoor
connection,poorinsulation,orcurrentlimitoverride.
– Whenextensionwiringisrequiredduetopowerline
damage,referto"Step 15 Optional: Extending the
power cable"intheinstallationmanual.
CAUTION
Make sure that you earth the cables.
•
Donotconnecttheearthwiretothegaspipe,water
pipe,lightingrodortelephonewire.Ifearthingisnot
complete,electricshockorfiremayoccur.
Install the circuit breaker.
•
Ifthecircuitbreakerisnotinstalled,electricshockor
firemayoccur.
Make sure that the condensed water dripping from the
drain hose runs out properly and safely.
Install the power cable and communication cable of
the indoor and outdoor unit at least 1m away from the
electric appliance.
Install the indoor unit away from lighting apparatus
using the ballast.

Ifyouusethewirelessremotecontrol,receptionerror
mayoccurduetotheballastofthelightingapparatus.
Do not use the indoor unit for preservation of food
items, plants, equipment, and art works. This may cause
deterioration of their quality.
Do not install the indoor unit if it has any drainage
problem.
