Overview
The EXP-PT1370 NXP-PLV + PTE-300 EXPerience Kit (FG630-110K) allows
users to set up an operational basic camera control system very quickly with no
programming and very little setup time.
The EXP-PT1370 kit includes one NXP-PLV Modero PosiTrack Pilot Camera
Controller, one NI-700 master, and one PTE-300 PosiTrack pan/tilt head. Also
included are the appropriate cables and accessories to complete most standard
installations. Depending on the actual configuration, additional accessories may
be required to complete the system installation.
Each device in this kit can be purchased separately. This EXPerience Kit
also comes with the appropriate Installation Guides for the NXP-PLV PosiTrack
Pilot controller, the NI-700 master, and the PTE-300 pan/tilt head, and these
guides should be used for reference in addition to this document. For more
detailed installation, configuration, programming, file transfer, and operating
instructions, refer to the NXP-PLV, NI-700, and PTE-300 User Manuals,
available online at www.amx.com.
EXP-PT1370 Kit Components
Source code
All source code for the devices in the EXP-PT1370 EXPerience Kit are already
loaded into the NI-700 Master.
Setting up the EXP-PT1370
The EXP-PT1370 EXPerience Kit comes pre-loaded and pre-configured from
the factory. All devices are set to the default static IP addresses listed below.
Setup simply involves connecting the components to an Ethernet switch or hub,
as detailed in the wiring diagram below.
The NXA-ENET24 (FG2178-60) and the NXA-ENET24POE (FG2178-61)
Managed Ethernet Switches from AMX are recommended for this purpose.
For further information on changing IP addresses, utilizing DHCP settings, or
other particulars on any of the components in the EXP-PT1370 EXPerience Kit,
please refer to the User Manual for the component in question.
