Installation
☐ Locate the analog VMAC Throttle Control; the throttle control is generally located
under the dashboard near the accelerator pedal.
☐ Unplug the throttle control connectors from the ECM and the foot pedal.
☐ Unplug the bullet connector on the red wire running to the white clutch wire.
☐ Disconnect the green throttle control ground wire that is connected to the OEM
ground (located on the dashboard support).
☐ Cut the grey cable near where it exits the throttle control.
☐ Cut the cable ties securing the blue and white wires running from the throttle
control.
Cut the blue wire from the throttle control where it connects to the yellow wire with
dark blue stripe:
☐ Aisin AS69RC Transmission: Pin 9.
☐ 68RFE Transmission: Pin 4
☐ Clean up the splice point of the yellow wire with dark blue stripe as the new
throttle control will splice to the same location.
☐ Cut the white wire from the throttle control where it connects to the brown wire
with light blue stripe running from pin 3 of the Crank Position Sensor (CKP).
☐ Properly repair the splice point of the brown wire with light blue stripe (pin 3)
(such as with shrink wrap) as it is no longer spliced into.
☐ Plug the supplied harnesses into the VMAC Digital Throttle Control.
☐ Using cable ties, secure the new throttle control under the dashboard, away from
moving parts and positioned so that the buttons and LED lights are accessible.
☐ Plug the accelerator pedal into the matching plug on the supplied harness, and
plug the other connector into the OEM harness running to the ECM.
☐ Connect the green wire with ring terminal, running from the throttle control, to a
good ground under the dash.
☐ Route the grey cable with the black connector, running from the throttle control,
into the engine bay via a grommet in the firewall.
☐ Route the grey cable to the compressor along the same path as the previous grey
cable, securing it as necessary using cable ties.
☐ Connect the grey cable to the matching connector on the compressor.
☐ Route the blue wire, running from the throttle control, into the engine
compartment via a grommet in the firewall (disregard if connecting via VSIM).
Connect the blue wire from the throttle control the yellow wire with dark blue stripe:
☐ Aisin AS69RC Transmission: Pin 9.
☐ 68RFE Transmission: Pin 4.
☐ Pull all excess wiring back into the cab.
On vehicles equipped with VSIM, the VMAC Park/Neutral wire may
be connected via Pin 7 in the grey 24 cavity connector (yellow wire
with dark blue stripe).
