1. Determine if pre-drilled rubber seal offers tight fit on cable.

2. Drill a hole in the seal that ensures a tight fit with the cable.

3. Slit the seal from its edge to the drilled hole.

4. Fasten the deck ring and gasket to the surface.

5. Pass the cable end through the stainless steel cap.

6. Slip the compression ring onto the cable. Insert the cable through the slit of the seal.

Press the seal into the compression ring.

7. Screw the compression ring to the deck ring by tightening each screw a few turns

at a time. Do not overtighten the screws.

8. Press the stainless steel cap over the assembly.
