Extron DVI 101 extends DVI and HDMI signals beyond the specified cable limits of 15' (5 m). Ideal for long cable runs, it recovers and retransmits the signal, allowing for reliable transmission up to 200' (61 m) at the highest transmission rate of 165 MHz. The DVI 101 supports resolutions up to 1920x1200, including 1080p, and features a status LED to indicate power and input signal presence. It can be powered from the source device or an external power supply.

3. Connect the display device to the output connector on the DVI/HDMI 101 rear panel. For
long cable runs, position the equalizer as close as possible to the display end of the cable —
no more than 15' (5 m) from the display.
4. If using the provided external power supply, connect it to the 2-pole captive screw connector
on the DVI/HDMI 101 rear panel.
N For shorter distances, the DVI/HDMI 101 can receive power from the input device. See
the table on the other side of this card for the maximum distances at which the
DVI/HDMI 101 can be powered from the source for each resolution.

The DVI 101 and HDMI 101 Cable Equalizers extend
DVI and HDMI signals beyond the specified cable limits
of 15' (5 m). They should be installed at the end of long
cable runs; the cable from the DVI/HDMI 101 output to
the display input should be no longer than 15' (5 m). To
install either of the equalizers,
1. Mount the DVI/HDMI 101.
2. Plug a DVI or HDMI input device into the input connector on the DVI/HDMI 101 front
panel.
