1. Determine mounng height on frame. (Recommend 10” to 12” above interior lever)

2. Place the bracket on frame in orientaon shown in Figure 1. Allow for a minimum gap of

0.1” [2.5 mm] between the le edge of holes and the corner of the frame (See Figure 2). Allow for

at least an 1/8” [3.2 mm] gap between the pop-on frame and the face side of the bracket

(See Figure 3).

3. If possible place privacy door latch (277D) on bracket, and check to make sure the swing arm ro-

tates to the closed posion when the door swings completely closed. Also verify that the door will

open without issue when the swing arm is in the closed posion. Adjust bracket if necessary.

4. Once the bracket is in the desired posion on the frame, mark (5) holes for drilling.

5. Center punch and drill (5) 5/32” pilot holes.

6. Install bracket using (5) 12-24 FPH screws.
