Shepherd Hook
Guide for Installation & Usage
Location
Be sure that your chosen location provides an adequate
amount of sunlight and space based on what you may be
hanging on your shepherd hook.
Installation
If the ground is soft enough, you can push the shepherd
hook stakes into the ground with your foot, while stabilizing
with one or both hands. If the ground is hard, try running
water over the area to soften the soil.
Storage
After the season has ended, remove your shepherd hook
from its growing spot and be sure to store it in a dry area to
ensure no damage. This allows for season after season use.
Preparation
Clear any debris that may prohibit the shepherd hook
stakes from being fully pressed into the ground, such as
mulch, pine, straw, or stone.
