Removal and Insertion
● To remove Battery pack from the device
release hand strap (1) rotate hand strap
in direction shown (2), push the lock (3)
and release battery pack from the device.
● To insert Battery Pack, align the tabs
of Battery Pack with guides in the battery
pack compartment and click-in Battery Pack.
SIM Card
Insertion and Removal
● Remove battery pack from the device,
remove rubber plug and slide the SIM card
into card slot (contacts face up)
● To remove SIM card from the slot,
slightly press the card and release.
(card slot is push/push type)
Memory Card
Insertion and Removal
● Open SD card compartment Door and
slide the SD card (contacts face down)
into card slot
● To remove SD card, pull it from the card slot.

Insertion and Removal
● To insert, slide the device into cradle (1)
and push against locking mechanism (2).
Correct device fixation is indicated by
click sound of the lock mechanism.
● To remove the device from the cradle,
first press Lock Release Button (3).
Multi-positioning Arm
● To attach on DS, slide (4)
Multi-positioning Arm between guides.
Correct Arm fixation is indicated by
click sound of the DS lock mechanism.
● To attach on Desktop Base, put inside (5)
and slide (6).
Correct Arm fixation is indicated by
click sound of the Base lock mechanism.
SmartCap, Pistol Grip
● To attach SmartCap/Pistol Grip, align
the tabs of SmartCap/Pistol Grip with
guides in H42 (1) and click-in (2).
Travel Charger Plug
Insertion and Removal
● To insert, put the Plug into HRC-4200
docking interface compartment (3)
Correct device fixation is indicated by
click sound of the Plug lock mechanism.
● To remove the Plug from HRC-4200,
first slide Lock Release Button (4)

1, Charge the HRC-4200
On delivery the HRC-4200 is in
Power off mode. Therefore before using
the device it is necessary to charge it via
an external power source.

2. Install ActiveSync
/ Mobile Device Centre
from www.microsoft.com
● MS Windows 2000 or MS Windows XP user
download ActiveSync v3.7 and higher
● MS Windows Vista or MS Windows 7 user
download Mobile Device Centre
Follow installation instructions provided by
Microsoft.
3. Connect the HRC-4200
to a host Computer

Follow onscreen instructions to establish
connection between HRC-4200
and host computer
HRC-4200 Battery Pack
Charging
Lithium Ion Battery Pack can be charged
separately by Power Supply Adapter 5V
Smart Card
To insert Smart Card, slide it into
Smart Card slot (contacts face up)
Suspend button
to switch device Suspend/Run.
Reset Button
if a reset is needed
● SOFT reset - shortly press the reset button
Performing Soft Reset, all your data in RAM
memory will be erased. All running programs
will be closed.
● HARD reset - press the reset button
for a 3 sec.
Performing Hard Reset, all your data in RAM
memory and RAM file system will be erased.
Also the registry settings will be restarted
to factory settings.
