INSTALLING THE BARRIER
1) Using a #3 Phillips screwdriver, remove the three screws at the bottom
of the glass door enclosure panel, tilt the enclosure awau from the unit
at the base, lift away, and set the panel aside.
NOTE: If your fireplace has a modesty panel that hides the screws from
view, remove this panel first.
2. Using a 5/16” hex head nut driver, install the two upper mounting
brackets.
3. Using a 5/16” hex head nut driver, install the three lower mounting

NOTE: When properly adjusted for depth, the barrier should prevent
someone from reaching between the barrier and the fireplace face
and touching the glass. If necessary, adjust the barrier using the
provided adaptors to prevent any direct contact with the glass.
4. Following the procedure outlined in the installation manual, replace the
glass enclosure panel and secure it with the three black screws that
were removed in Step 1. Please note that unless the door is properly
installed over the mounting flange at the top of the firebox, it will be
very difficult to fully close the door.
5. Slide the barrier frame mounting brackets over the fireplace brackets
and adjust to the proper depth. Secure the bracket with the screws
provided in the kit.
6. Install the front frame and barrier and fasten to the mounting brackets
using the screws provided.
