INSTALLATION
1. Plug the AC adaptor cord to the DC IN 6V on the rear of the device and
plug the other end into the electric outlet.
2. Plug one end of telephone cord to the telephone socket on the wall and plug
the other end of telephone cord to the line jack on the rear of the device.
3. Plug one end of telephone cord to the telephone jack on the telephone and
plug the other end of telephone cord to the tel jack on the rear of the device.
SETTINGS
During standby mode: long press SET/ERASE for seconds to enter
setting mode, press REP andFF to adjust the settings.

PLAY/STOP...............................a. With new message: press to play new
messages sequentially, press again
to stop playing.
b. With no new messages: press to play
all messages sequentially, press again
to stop playing.

for 6 seconds to erase all messages.
SET/ERASE..............................a. Standby mode: press to announce time,

4. Ring to answer:
2 to 5 and Toll saver mode
In toll saver mode, the answering machine activates after 2 rings if there is
new message, the rings increase to 5 if there is no new message.
5. ICM Time:
1 to 4 minutes
Maximum recording time for each incoming message.
6. Security code
Default password is 1234.
7. CBT code
Default setting is 5678.
OPERATION
ANSWERING MACHINE ON/OFF
Press ANSWER to turn answering machine on or off.
PLAY MESSAGE
Press PLAY/STOP to play messages, press again to stop playing.
MEMO RECORDING
During standby mode, long press MEMO/2WAY for 2 seconds to start
recording memo, press again to complete memo recording. Maximum
recording time is 28 minutes.
2 WAY RECORDING
During a phone call, long press MEMO/2WAY for 4 seconds to start 2 way
recording. ”BEEP” sounds every 15 seconds during recording, press
MEMO/2WAY again to complete 2 way recording, maximum recording time is
28 minutes. 2 way recording stops automatically if following activities are
detected.
1. The call is hung up
2. Busy tone is detected
3. Memory full
ANSWERING MACHINE STATUS
During standby mode: press SET/ERASE to announce time, date, ring to
answer, total recording capacity messages have taken and security code.
OUTGOING MESSAGE RECORDING
During standby mode, long press OGM for 4 seconds to start recording, press
again to stop recording. Maximum recording time is 30 seconds.
MESSAGE DELETION
Delete one message
ANSWER ONLY
The device only plays OGM, record function is disabled
Press ANSWER repeatedly until "Answer Only" voice prompt is heard to
disable record function, perform the same approach to enable record function
if it is previously disabled.
During message playing, press SET/ERASE to erase the message being
played.
Delete all messages
During message playing: long press SET/ERASE for 6 seconds to erase all
messages.
CALL SCREEN ON/OFF
Disable the speaker function of the answering machine
During standby mode, long press FF for 2 seconds to announce CALL
OFF to disable the speaker function of the answering machine. Perform the
same approach to enable speaker function if it is previous disabled.
SPEAKER VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
Press or to adjust speaker volume.
MICROPHONE VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
Long press to enter MIC Vol adjustment, press REP and FF
to adjust MIC Vol.
REMOTE CONTROL
Initial a call to the location where answering machine is installed, press #
during OGM playing, then key in security code, rapid ”Beep beep beep”sound
represents incorrect code, long ”Beep” sound represents entering remote
control mode. During remote control mode, the system plays following options
repeatedly in sequence:
1. Press #1 to play message
During message playing:
1.1 Play previous message, please press #7
1.2 Play next message, please press #8

7.Press #7 to play remote password
8.Press #8 to play OGM
9.Press # to stop current operation
CBT
Initial a call to the location where answering machine is installed, press #
during OGM playing, key in CBT code, the answering machine in call
destination starts to play loud music as a notification of an incoming call of
acquaintance.
1.2 Play next message, please press #8
1.3 Delete message being played, please press #0
2. Press #2 to set answer on
3. Press #3 to set answer off
4. Press #4 to record message(MEMO)
5. Press #5 to record reading(OGM)
Start recording OGM after a ”Beep” sound, press # to stop recording and
return to options. Maximum recording time is 30 seconds
6.Press #6 to start room monitor
Start room monitor, press # to stop monitor and return to options. Monitor
period is 30 seconds, press to extend monitor period
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your answering machine, basic safety precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to individuals.
1. Read and understand all directions.
2. Follow all warnings and instructions.
3. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid
cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
4. Do not use this product near water.(i.e. Near a bathtub, kitchen sink,
washing machine, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool.) Avoid
spilling liquid on the product.
5. Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, or table. Serious
damage may occur to the product if it falls.
6. Do not allow anything to rest on the telephone cord. Do not locate this
product where the cord might be damaged by persons walking on it.
7. Never put foreign objects of any kind into the product as they may touch
dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result in a risk of fire
or electrical shock.
8.To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble this product, take it
to a qualified service person if service or repair work is required. Opening or
removing cover may expose you to dangerous voltages or other risks.
Operate after incorrect reassembly can cause electric shock.
9. Adjust only the controls that are covered by the operating instructions.
Improper adjustment of controls may result in malfunction that could require
extensive work by a qualified technician.
10. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel if the following should occur:
If the phone line or plug is damaged or frayed
If liquid has been spilled into the product
If the product has been exposed to rain or water
If the product does not operate normally by following operating instructions.
If the product has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged
If the product exhibits a distinct change in performance
11. Avoid using a telephone during an electrical storm. There may be risks of
electric shock from lightning.
12. Do not use the telephone in the vicinity of a gas leak.
