Installation requires attaching the mounting plate to the ceiling outlet box and connecting the wires as per the color coding. 1. Carefully remove all parts from the carton.

2. Thread lamp pole (E) onto the top nipple (F) of light fixture.

3. Remove mounting plate (A) from base of light fixture (D) by removing

base screws (C) in counter-clockwise direction.

4. Affix mounting plate (A) to ceiling outlet box with mounting screws

(B) provided.

5. Attach fixture steel safety cable to structural member in the ceiling.

6. Connect ground wire from the light fixture (bare copper) to ground

wire (green or copper in color ), fasten together with a plastic wire

connector. Tightly wrap the wire from ceiling outlet box with electrical

tape. So the end of the connector is sealed. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT

THE OUTLET BOX IN YOUR HOME BE PROPERLY GROUNDED.

7. Connect the hot wires (smooth wires ) from the light fixture to the hot

junction box wire from ceiling outlet box (usually black). Fasten

together with a plastic wire connector provided and tightly wrap wire

connector with electrical tape.

8. Repeat the procedure with neutral wires (ribbed wire) from the light

fixture to the wire from ceiling outlet box (usually white). DO NOT

REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS OTHERWISE

SAFETY WILL BE COMPROMISED.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable,

local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction

and operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. Inspect item and

contents carefully. If any damage or defect is found, do not install.

Retain all packaging material until installation is complete and approved.

NOTICE:

9. Attach fixture base (D) to the affixed mounting plate (A) and tighten

with base screws (C).

10. Insert light bulbs into the sockets.

11. Loosen thumbscrews (G), insert glass shades (J) into shade holder

(H) and secure by tightening thumbscrews (G). DO NOT

OVER-TIGHTEN OTHERWISE GLASS WILL BE DAMAGE.

Care Instructions: Clean only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do

not use abrasive or chemical agents.
