Active Aqua HGRH350W is a 350W titanium reservoir heater designed to maintain the optimal temperature range of 65‒75°F for hydroponic nutrient solutions. It features a thermostat with an accuracy of +/- 0.5°F, a metal heating pipe, a thermometer sensor, and a 3' sensor wire. The controller has dual outlets, allowing it to support heaters ranging from 100W to 400W. To ensure safety, the heating element must be submerged in the reservoir before plugging it in and should never come into contact with any surface while powered.

INSTRUCTIONS
HGRH350W Instrucons - rev.10.02.2015
Congratulaons on the purchase of your Acve Aqua 350W Titanium Reservoir Heater.
Operang temperature: 60‒80°F. The ideal temperature range for hydroponic nutrient soluon is
65‒75°F. To check whether the new device works safely, please monitor the water temperature during
the rst two days. The heang element must be placed in your lled reservoir before plugging in the
power supply, and should always be submerged when heang water/nutrient soluon.
The controller (the component with the thermostat dial and LEDs) should be kept as far as possible
from the water/nutrient soluon the heang element is being used to heat. Never allow the controller
to come into contact with any water.
CAUTION: The tubular tanium heang element gets very hot. Aach it securely to
the side wall or boom surface of the reservoir using the aached sucon cups. Do not
allow the heang element to touch any surface of the reservoir while powered. Do not
allow the heang element to oat freely in the nutrient soluon. Always disconnect power
to the heater while changing out your reservoirs nutrient soluon. Damage resulng
from failure to follow these instrucons or from any misuse will void the warranty.
The heang element itself cannot control its own temperature and needs to be connected to the
controller when operang. Do not plug the heang element directly into a power outlet. Plug it into
the controller and then plug the controller into a power outlet.
Place the temperature probe in the reservoir, securing it with the included sucon cup if desired.
The controller is only rated to support one 350W heater. Plugging in addional heaters when using a
350W heater will damage the controller and could possibly cause a re.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Hydrofarm warrants the HGRH350W to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The
warranty term is for one year prorated beginning on the date of purchase. Misuse, abuse, or failure
to follow instrucons is not covered under this warranty. Hydrofarm will, at our discreon, repair or
