 – e main

switches are located on the driver’s armrest.

To open, depress the appropriate

window switch.

To close, pull up on the appropriate

window switch.

 – e

auto up/down feature is controlled by the main

window switches.

To fully open the driver’s window

automatically, press the AUTO switch

fully down.

To fully close the driver’s window

automatically, pull the AUTO switch fully up.

To stop the window at any desired position

while the window is moving, pull up or down

and then release the AUTO switch.

e switch is located on the driver’s armrest and

can be used to adjust both the le and right

outside mirrors.





 Move the selecting switch

to the right or

le to adjust the corresponding mirror.

 Adjust the mirror angle by depressing the

appropriate direction on the perimeter switch.

 Move the selecting switch

back to the

middle position to deactivate the

perimeter switch.



 – To operate the

headlights, turn the switch on end of the lever.



NOTE: e ignition must be in the ON

position to turn the headlights on.

lever forward.

 – Pull the lever toward you

and release.

NOTE: When the high beams are activated,

the blue symbol

instrument cluster.

 – Rotate

the switch to the ON position.

NOTE: Fog lights will only function on

low beam.



NOTE: Do not adjust while driving.

 – Push

lever

down to unlock the steering wheel.

Adjust the steering wheel up or down and

forward or back to the desired position. Aer

adjustment, securely tighten the lever by

pulling it up.





– Pull lever

toward

you to unlock the steering wheel. Adjust the

steering wheel up or down to the desired

position. Aer adjustment, release the lever

on the side of the steering column.

– Pull the switch and the CRUISE

indicator in the instrument cluster will

illuminate. Accelerate to the desired cruising

speed (above 25 mph).



– Push the switch and remove your

foot from the accelerator pedal.







– Press to accelerate your

speed with cruising speed set.



– Press to slow speed down

with cruising speed set.

 – Press

the 

switch, press the brake pedal,

depress the clutch pedal, or turn 

cruise control.



To activate the windshield wipers, move

the wiper/washer switch to one of the

four positions:



– is feature allows the windshield

wipers to make a single wipe to clear any mist

on the windshield. Move the windshield

wiper/washer switch upward.



– Intermittent wiper operation is the rst

downward position. e wiper speed may be

varied by rotating the INT switch. Rotate up for

more time between wipes or down for less time

between wipes.



– Low-speed operation is the second

downward position.



– High-speed operation is the third

downward position.

 – To use the

windshield washer, pull the wiper/washer lever

towards you. When the washer is operated,

the wipers automatically make two passes

across the windshield. e washer continues to

operate until the lever is released.

 –

Illuminates if one or more of your tires is

signicantly under-inated. Safely park the

vehicle and check your tires as soon as possible,

and inate them to the proper pressure.

 – 

Illuminates and stays illuminated when there is

a malfunction with the TPMS system. Have the

system checked by an authorized Hyundai dealer

as soon as possible.

NOTE: e TPMS is not a substitute for

proper tire maintenance, and it is the driver’s

responsibility to maintain correct tire pressure,

even if under-ination has not reached the level

to trigger illumination of the TPMS low tire

pressure indicator.

 – With the

ignition switch in the ON position, press the

TRIP switch to change the display:

TRIP A – Tripmeter A

TRIP B – Tripmeter B

RANGE – Distance to Empty

AVG – Average Fuel Consumption

E/T – Drive Time

Push in the RESET switch more than 1 second

to initialize the displayed information such

as tripmeter, distance to empty, average fuel

consumption and drive time.

 –

With the ignition switch in the ON position,

press the TRIP switch to toggle between TRIP A

and TRIP B.

To reset the display, press the RESET switch for 1

second and the individual TRIP A or TRIP B will

reset to 0.

On the automatic climate control system, set the fan speed control to the desired

speed to turn the fan on. Pressing the OFF button turns the fan o.

If the air conditioner lter for the evaporator blower is not replaced per the

scheduled maintenance section, excessive window fogging may result. Your

authorized Hyundai dealer can replace this lter for you.







 

mode on the air ow control. In the MAX/AC mode, the A/C is turned on automati-

cally and the recirculation mode will be activated. e A/C cannot be turned o while

in the MAX/AC mode.

NOTE:

If the air conditioner lter for the evaporator blower is not replaced per the

scheduled maintenance section, excessive window fogging may result. Your

e indicator will illuminate when you turn

the ignition key to START or ON. e light will

not illuminate when the passenger’s air bag is

enabled. e occupant classication system will

disable the right front passenger’s air bag under

certain conditions (light on). Refer to your

Owner’s Manual for a complete description of

this system.

NOTE: e driver’s air bag and the side impact

air bag are not part of the occupant

classication system.



ere are two control buttons for the digital

clock. eir functions are:

 – Push H to advance the hours.

 – Push M to advance the minutes.

Press and hold both buttons to toggle between

military time and standard time.

 Turn radio on by pressing the

PWR button

 Select AM, FM, or XM radio

 Turn the AUDIO knob

to the

desired channel.

 Press and hold any preset button

(1-6) until an audible beep is heard to

memorize the current channel.

Note: FM has 2 bands for up to 12 presets.

XM has 3 bands for up to 18 presets.





 Press the XM button

 Select an XM channel by turning the

AUDIO knob

to scroll through the

XM channels.

 Press the AUDIO knob

to select the

desired XM channel.



 While in XM mode, press the

CAT/FOLDER

button

to scroll

through music categories.

 Press the AUDIO knob

to select the

desired category.

Press the

SEEK/TRACK

button

to seek the next available channel.







 Press the SCAN button

to preview

each channel/track.

 To scan through the channel presets,

for AM/FM/XM only, press and hold

the SCAN button

until an audible

beep is heard.

 Press the SCAN button

again to stop

the scan feature.





 Press the AUDIO knob

to select the

 – Press to lock all doors and arm the

alarm. e turn signal lights will blink once.

 – Press once to disarm the alarm

and unlock the driver’s door. e turn signal

lights will blink twice. Press again within four

seconds to unlock all doors.

 – Press and hold for

longer than one second to unlock the trunk lid.

 – Press and hold to activate the horn

and ashing lights for 30 seconds. Press again to

turn o panic mode.



Your Hyundai is equipped with a feature that will automatically lock all the doors

when driving. See your authorized Hyundai dealer to congure this feature.

e sunroof can only be opened, closed, or tilted

when the ignition switch is in the ON position.

 – Press the

SLIDE OPEN button

for more than one

second to activate the one-touch feature.

 – Press the TILT UP

button

for more than one second.

 – Press the TILT UP

button

for more than one second.

To close the sunroof, press the SLIDE OPEN

button

and hold it until the sunroof is closed.



Whenever operating the vehicle, make sure that you and your occupants are properly

wearing your seat belts. Small children should always ride in the rear seat in the

appropriate child restraint system (see the Owner’s Manual for child safety details).

Never place children under 13 years old in the front seats to avoid injury that may

result from air bag deployment. Always refer to the Owner’s Manual for complete

safety precaution information.

NOTE: If the driver’s seat belt is not fastened when the ignition key is turned to the

ON or START position, the seat belt reminder light will blink and the warning

chime will sound for approximately six seconds to remind the driver to fasten the

driver’s seatbelt.

your chest and midway over your shoulder

nearest the door and not your neck.

To raise the height adjuster, pull it up. To

lower, press and hold the height adjuster button

and push down.

NOTE: Moving the height adjuster quickly

may cause the seat belt retractor to engage.



 –

Pull up on the headrest to raise it. To lower the

headrest, press the lock knob while pressing

down on the headrest.



 – Pull the headrest forward

to adjust it to one of three positions. To adjust

the headrest rearward, pull the headrest all the

way forward, then release.



Press the release button on top of the locking

buckle to release the seatbelt. e belt should

automatically retract.







e HomeLink® Wireless Control System

provides a way to replace up to three hand-

held radio-frequency transmitters, such as

garage door openers or gate operators, with a

single built-in device. Controls for HomeLink®

are located in the bottom of the inside

rearview mirror.

Please refer to your Owner’s Manual for more

detailed information.







 –

Pull the lock release lever upward and slide

the seat forward or backward to the

desired position. Release the lever and slide

the seat forward or rearward until it locks

into position.

 – To raise or

lower the seat, raise or lower the control lever

repeatedly to the desired height.

 – Pull up on the lever;

lean back until the desired seatback angle

is achieved and release the lever to lock

the position.

 – To adjust the

lumbar support, move the lever to the

desired position.

 – Tilt the control

forward or backward to recline the seatback.

 – To adjust the seat forward

or rearward, pull the control knob forward

or backward to the desired position. Release

the control knob and the seat will remain at

that position.

To adjust the seat cushion height, move the front

portion of the control knob up or down to raise

or lower the front part of the seat. Move the rear

portion of the control knob up or down to raise

or lower the rear part of the seat.

An auxiliary and USB jack is located in the

center console compartment. Use the jack to

connect an external audio device and listen to it

through the audio system in your vehicle.



Push the fuel release button.

Remove the fuel cap.

Pump the fuel.

Reinstall the fuel cap.

Close the fuel door.

NOTE: Aer adding fuel, always reinstall the

fuel cap fully and make sure it clicks at least

three times. Failure to do this may result in the

Check Engine light illuminating.



e rear passengers can fold down the armrest

in the center of the rear seat which contains

drink holders.



Press the switch to turn the map light on or o.









Press the DOOR button to activate the dome

light whenever the door is opened. Once the

door is closed and the ignition is turned to

the ON position, the dome light will fade o.

Press the DOOR button again to deactivate

this feature.

Press the ON button to turn on the dome light.

e light will remain on until the button is

pressed again.

Move the switch up or down

to one of the four positions.

 – To use the

washer, pull the lever

toward you.

To adjust INT speed, rotate

the switch.

 – Illuminates if

one or more of your tires is signicantly under-inated.

Safely park and inate them to the proper pressure.

Note: Refer to the driver’s side B-Pillar for recommended

tire pressure on OEM tires.

 – Have the

system checked by an authorized Hyundai dealer as soon

as possible.
