terminal

prevent
an
accidental
short
circuit.

Unclip
and
remove
trim
panel
around
radio/display
including
alc
vents.

unit

the
dash.

Using
the
mounting
screws
from

display
unit,
attach
the
brackets
supplied
with
the
kit
by
aligning
the
guide
pins
on
the
display
with
the
holes
on
the
brackets.

housing

attach

unit
to

housing
using
the

Locate
the
factory
wiring
harness
in
the
dash.
Metra
recommends
using
the
proper
mating
adapter
from
Metra
or
AXXESS.
Re-connect
the
negative
battery
terminal
and
test
the
unit
for
proper
operation.

Slide
the
Double
DIN
head
unit
or
stacked
ISO
head
units
into
the
bracket/radio
housing
assembly
and
secure
the
Double
DIN
head
unit
or
stacked
ISO
head
units
to
the
assembly
using
the
screws
supplied
with
the
radio.

reverse
order
of
disassembly.

Acura MDX with Factory Navigaon
On some models the factory climate controls will stop working aer replacing
the radio, you can follow the steps below to correct this issue.
Steps
1.) Locate the White 14-Pin connector that came out of the radio.
2.) Place a 70ohm resistor across pin 9 (Blue) and Pin 10 (Pink).
Note: The connector will have 14 total openings for wires, but may not have 14 wires. If you do not have a
70ohm resistor, you may use any value from 70 to 100 ohms.
