in each the cabin and cockpit areas, through utilization of cabin
hatches, cabin doors, cabin windows, cockpit windshield windows
and side windshield vents to increase air movement through the
cabin and cockpit areas. The following conditions tend to increase

6. Any blockage of hull exhaust outlets.

AFTER EACH USE:
Fully extend ladder and thoroughly rinse all ladder and slide surfaces
with fresh water. Pay special attention to flushing any debris and salt
water from the slide areas.
MONTHLY:
Examine the ladder slide grooves and remove any foreign particles
lodged within the grooves.
Wash entire ladder, using ONLY a clean, soft cloth, and mild soap solution.
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. To prevent damage NEVER USE
ABRASIVES or ABRASIVE CLEANERS!
Allow ladder to dry after washing. Apply a light coating of spray lubricant or
clear silicone grease to the slide areas ONLY. Work ladder back and forth
to assure distribution of lubricant and ease of operation.

AFTER EACH USE:
Fully extend ladder and thoroughly rinse all ladder and slide surfaces
with fresh water. Pay special attention to flushing any debris and salt
water from the slide areas.
MONTHLY:
Examine the ladder slide grooves and remove any foreign particles
lodged within the grooves.
Wash entire ladder, using ONLY a clean, soft cloth, and mild soap solution.
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. To prevent damage NEVER USE
ABRASIVES or ABRASIVE CLEANERS!
Allow ladder to dry after washing. Apply a light coating of spray lubricant or
clear silicone grease to the slide areas ONLY. Work ladder back and forth
to assure distribution of lubricant and ease of operation.
CAUTION - TO PREVENT THE POSSIBILITY OF PERSONAL INJURY,
ENSURE THAT ANY LUBRICANT IS CLEANED FROM LADDER RUNGS

on the boat’s electrical system yourself. Instead,
we recommend that you take your boat to your
authorized Sea Ray
®
dealer for service. Sea Ray

reserves the right to change or update the electrical
system on any model at any time without notice to
the consumer and is NOT obligated to make any
updates to units built prior to changes.
15. ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
A. TELEVISION SIGNAL SELECTOR & ANTENNA
TUNER (OPTIONAL)
The antenna/cable selector panel is located in the
galley inside the storage compartment below the
TV. Turn the selector to MAX GAIN for onboard TV
antenna reception. Turn the selector to SHORE for
dockside cable reception.
B. CABLE TELEVISION CONNECTION (OPTIONAL)
The dockside TV cable inlet is located in the
transom storage compartment next to the shore
power inlet.
1. Open the TV cable inlet cover.
2. Connect the TV coax cable to the TV cable
receptacle.
3. Run the cable to the dockside receptacle
and connect coax cable into receptacle.
C. 12 VOLT STEREO
The standard entertainment system on your 270AJ
consists of a 12V AM/FM single CD & satellite radio
receiver, a remote MP3 port, amplifier, 4 speakers
and digital cockpit remote control. An optional 6-disc
CD changer is available. An optional Premium
Cockpit Sound System is available. It includes a
6-disc CD changer, upgraded speakers, subwoofer,
amplifier and transom stereo remote.

13. FUEL SYSTEM
A. GASOLINE FUEL SYSTEM
The standard gasoline fuel system on your 270AJ
consists of a 100 gallon (378.5 liter)fuel tank, fuel
tank vent, electronic fuel sender, anti-siphon valve,
engine fuel supply line and fuel fill.
The optional twin engine gasoline fuel system uses
a single tank with two electronic fuel senders, anti-
siphon valves and engine fuel supply lines.

14. WATER SYSTEM

liter) water tank, 12 volt water pump, water system
filter, water heater, distribution manifold and level

system installed standard. Refer to the General
