- If the pressure exceeds or is likely to exceed 550kpa,
an approved pressure limiting device must be installed.
- Flush out all pipe work prior to installation.
- If the water temperature exceeds 75°C, an approved
tempering valve must be fitted.
- Installation should comply with Australian standard
AS3500.1 or relevant local authority requirements.
Showers may not be suitable for use within:
• Gravity-fed water systems
• Some instantaneous hot water systems; or
• Pressure supply less than 150kPa;
NOTE:The 500kPa maximum water supply pressure
does not apply to fire service outlets.
Failure to comply with the above may void all
warranties.

- Chrome plated surfaces should be
cleaned with mild liquid detergent or
soap and water.

abrasive.
- Use of unsuitable cleaning agents may
damage the surface. Any damage caused
in this way will not be covered by
warranty.

Release the grub
screw and remove
the spout from the
spout base
Apply teflon tape to the
elbow thread.
Ensure that “O” Ring is
fitted to the spout base.
Screw the spout base
onto the elbow thread
with a spanner.
Push the spout onto the spout base.
Fasten Grub Screw.

Installation Instructions
Installation shall comply with Australian Standard AS3500.1 or relevant local authority requirements.
Outlet supplied is fitted with a 5 Star WELS rated aerator for basin use. Please ensure this
flow controlled Aerator is tightened using the aerator key supplied to prevent removal by
hand. For installation over a bath, please use the other aerator that is packaged separately.
Note: This installation applies to 160mm, 200mm and 250mm variants.
Outlet supplied is fitted with a 5 star WELS rated aerator for basin use. For installation over a bath,
please use the other aerator that is packaged separately.
Outlet must be installed to the requirements of AS/NZS 3500 by a qualified plumber.
Note: The water supply lines need to be 'flushed out' prior to installation.

ŸIn a typical installation, the mixer is mounted on the timber/metal
noggin and secured with screws (not provided).
ŸShower Mixer Outlet (1) must always face up toward the shower.
Connect the mixer (1) to hot and cold water supply.
ŸPressure check all connections. Leaking joints are not covered by the
warranty.

Flush out new pipe work prior to connecting the new
mixer.
During installation protect the exposed finish surface
by using the plastic protective cover provided. Please
pay attention to the minimum/maximum depth.
Waterproofing and sealant materials are used to seal
against moisture or water penetration to ensure
integrity of the wall sheet lining structure. It must not
interfere with the removal of the protective cover and
installation of the mixer trim components. The
installing plumber is responsible for waterproofing
the shower mixer area penetrations as per AS3740.
ŸPage 2; Add note; For wall mounted Basin Tapware, consideration
should be made to installation height and length of outlet in
relation to height and positioning of basin on bench top.
ŸPage 2; Update 'Install aerator using aerator tool' to 'Install Bath
Aerator using Aerator Tool supplied'.
Waterproofing / sealant materials must be clear of the
Protective Cover (2) and the surface it protects (1) to
allow for removal of the protective cover and mixer
trim set for fit off. ŸTo install Bath Aerator, use Aerator Tool (5) to remove Basin
Aerator from Outlet (4).
ŸUse Aerator Tool (5) to install Bath Aerator (6).
ŸTest and check for leaks.

ŸUse a suitable sealing Compound (1) (plumbing Teflon Tape or
Pipe cord) on exposed Wall Thread (2).
ŸFit Cover Plate (3) onto rear of Outlet (4).
ŸAssemble Outlet (4) to Wall Thread (2).
Note: Basin Outlet is pre-fitted with a 5 Star rated WELS
Aerator. For Bath applications, Outlet Aerator must be
changed to the supplied Bath Aerator packaged in the box.
