Keep this owners manual for future reference. If you sell or give this product to someone
else, make sure this manual accompanies this product.
Assembly and installation by two or more capable adults is required! Failure to do so
could result in serious injury or property damage.

Important Safety Information!
WARNING
Two or more capable adults are recommended for all assembly, lifting, and installation steps.
DO NOT allow children to move or adjust system. NEVER leave children unattended under,
around, or near this umbrella.
ALWAYS place the umbrella base on a sturdy level surface
, and weigh it down with at least
200 lbs (90 kg). If not, the umbrella could tip over and cause serious personal injury.
Check all fasteners regularly to make sure they are tight.
ALWAY S check for wear, rust, corrosion before each use. Completely remove rust and repaint
with exterior enamel. If any steel part has rust, replace that part immediately.
Residential use only! NOT for commercial use! DO NOT use this product
for other than its
intended purpose. Any commercial, public, or institutional use voids all warranties.
This umbrella provides shade, but does not provide protection from all bad weather.
NEVER use this umbrella during strong wind or storms, or during heavy rain or snow.
If severe weather threatens, ALWAYS close the umbrella and bring it indoors.
Preparation
Remove all parts and hardware from the carton and place them on a clean soft surface. Make sure
nothing is missing. Dispose of all packaging materials properly. Please recycle.
Materials required for operation (not included): Four pavers each weighing at least 50 lbs (22.5kg),
or another system of equivalent weight. This umbrella must always be weighted down with at least 200
lbs (90 kg). See Important Safety Information for this and other safety warnings.

Assembly and Operation
Step 1: Set upper base leg (A) into lower base leg (B).
Step 2: Set pole support (C) onto base legs. Place washers (E) onto four Hex head bolts (E). Thread
bolts through pole support plate and into holes in base legs. Tighten bolts securely with wrench (H).
Step 3: Place base assembly in desired location. Set pavers, or other weights weighing 200 lbs, onto
base legs.
Step 4: Clip canopy top pole into canopy hinge. Clip both sections of canopy support pole together.
Step 5: Slide main pole (F) through sleeve clamp and into end of curved upper support tube.

Step 6: Slide main pole with canopy assembly all the way down into support pole on base.
Step 7: Screw lock knob (D) into support pole and tighten securely.
Step 8: Loosen sleeve clamp and slide canopy support pole up main pole. Lock clamp to hold canopy
in place.

Step 9: Check canopy ribs and cord to make sure nothing is caught or tangled, then carefully turn
canopy crank clockwise to open canopy. Reverse the crank to lower the canopy.
Step 10: Locate screen sections (I). Carefully zip the sections to the canopy fringe. The screen
sections also zip together to form a door which can be opened and closed.

Limited Warranty
Manufacturer warrants this product for replacement or repair of parts for a period of one (1) year from
original date of purchase. Paint is not warranted and may require touchup. The original sales receipt is
required for all warranty claims.
This warranty is limited to non-commercial residential use only. Commercial, public, or institutional
use voids all warranties. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damages resulting from
improper installation, alteration, vandalism, scratching, abuse, misuse, weather, or accidental damages.
Shipping charges are not covered by this warranty.
Vendor Development Group, inc. (VDG), its directors, officers, or agents, will not be liable to the
purchaser or any third party, whether in contract, in tort, or on any other basis, for any indirect, special,
punitive, exemplary, consequential, or incidental loss, cost, or damage arising out of or in connection
with the sale, maintenance, use, or inability to use this product, even if VDG, or its directors, officers, or
agents have been advised of the possibility of such losses, costs or damages, or if such losses, costs, or
damages are foreseeable. In no event will VDG, or its officers, directors, or agents be liable for any
direct losses, costs, or damages that exceed the purchase price of the product.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation or exclusion may not apply to the purchaser. This limited warranty gives you specific
legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. This warranty
replaces all other warranties, expressed or implied.
