Electrical safety
This appliance must be connected to a suitable
230-240V~50Hz power supply.
Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to your local outlet voltage before you
connect the appliance. If it does not match, contact
the after sales support service (details listed in this
manual) and do not use the electric blanket.
For additional protection, it is recommended to use a
residual current safety device (safety switch) with a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.
Do not use your appliance with an extension cord
unless it has been checked and tested by a qualified
technician or service person.
In order to avoid electrical hazards, do not immerse the
power cord, plug, controller, or appliance in water or
any other liquid.
Ensure that your hands are dry before handling the
plug or switching on the appliance.
Ensure that the appliance is switched off and
unplugged when it is not in use.
Power cord and plug
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged power
cord, or after the appliance has been dropped or
damaged in any manner.
Check the power cord regularly for visible damage.
If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, the manufacturer’s authorized service
centre, or similarly qualified personnel to avoid
hazards.
Fully unwind the power cord when in use, as a coiled
or tangled cord may overheat.
Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the cord.
Instead, pull the plug to disconnect.
Keep the cord away from heat sources.
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table
or bench top.
